The Perfect Venue
Pleasant Union Farm is absolutely gorgeous. Becky and her team makes the wedding process so easy and straight-forward. Great communication and walks you through every step. Our guests all loved the outdoor venue and indoor reception/dancing. The fire pit and s'mores were a hit with adults and kids.Sent on 10/19/2019

Charming, Secluded, Picturesque - Lovely Venue!
We had my son's wedding at this venue on October 5, 2019 (I see another review for the same day, but that must be a misprint) and it was truly lovely! Becky Kimmons, the owner, and her husband Cale are truly nice people and easy to work with. Becky was extremely patient, understanding, and very responsive. When you first drive up to this venue, you don't see the all of it's beauty yet - but when you walk up, step onto the covered patio area, look around and take it all in, you see the blueberry field in the background and lovely grounds and it made for fantastic pictures and a lovely, quiet ceremony - no car noise, no traffic, just quiet and peaceful, nature all around. Some of my family members recently attended a wedding close by (the venue that has a fountain) of about the same size (we had about 110); they said in comparison, Pleasant Union Farm had much more charm and character. It also provides quiet compared to a similar venue nearby that is close to road noise. The new addition of the Bridal and Groom's Suites made it so comfortable on wedding day and worked out perfectly. The flow of the guests from the ceremony on the lawn, to the patio during cocktail hour, and then to the inside space during the dining, and then back out to the patio for a night of dancing was all just perfect. Some even enjoyed s'mores by the fire. Our sparkler send-off on the sidewalk was the perfect end to the evening! The food was good (although the chicken breast was nearly inedible, very dry - provided by Prestige Catering - the rest of the food was quite delicious), the cake was homemade and wonderful (Cake Lady Lynne who worked very hard to please us all), our coordinator and florist, Blair with Winey Blonde Event Co, did a lovely job also with coordination and the flowers - we couldn't have done it without her! While the DJ Bryan as not perfect, (he forgot to microphone the groom for saying their own vows and the one he had on officiant kept going in and out during the ceremony - very unfortunate) he did a good job otherwise during the reception/dancing. These few negatives have no reflection on the venue itself and how hard Becky worked to make the wedding exactly as the couple wanted. Becky also recommended our photographer, and she was totally excellent - Ashley Martinez with AL Images! Our guests seemed to have a very good time - several came up to me and mentioned it was the best wedding they've ever been to! We purchased Blueberry Goat's Milk Soap made at the farm and it was a huge hit as party favors for our female guests, I so love it - wish I had more! I saw all the little details and a few issues, no wedding is perfect, but in the end, we are so happy we chose this venue. We also had our rehearsal dinner here, which was about half of the guest list since so many came from out of town. That also worked out perfectly and the guests enjoyed knowing where the venue was and it had a totally different feel and set up than on wedding day. Thanks to Becky for an excellent experience; I would highly recommend Pleasant Union Farm!Sent on 10/19/2019
