Pleasant Hill Chapel is a historic wedding venue in Defiance, Missouri. Constructed in 1922, it was a United Methodist Church up until 2018. In 2022, Jennifer and Jim purchased the property with the intention of transforming the space into a wedding venue. With their background in construction, they renovated the church with great care so as to retain as much of the original structure. This gem of a venue boasts artful stained glass windows, intricate carvings, and 125-year-old pews, which add to the romantic ambiance. It also features white-washed walls, period chandeliers, and hardwood floors. With the ability to accommodate anywhere from 2 to 125 guests, Pleasant Hill Chapel is ideal for celebrations, big or small.
