We used Phoenicia for our wedding catering, and they did a phenomenal job!
My husband and I worked with Denise, who was flexible, responsive to our questions, transparent with what they could do, and was able to offer consistent suggestions for what and how much to order. Even when I messed up and forgot to make plans for flatware and utensils until the week before the wedding, she jumped straight into options that Phonecia could provide and was able to give us a reasonable price at short notice. She was lovely to work with and a true professional.

Our family and friends ranted and raved about how delicious everything was- we went with kabobs and falafel and an assortment of salads and appetizers, and everything tasted incredible! Don't skip the lamb kabobs, cucumber salad, or pistachio apricot orzo… or of course, the baklava. Of note, they have a variety of options (not just Middle Eastern/Mediterranean) and levels of formality depending on what suits your needs. Everything was plated beautifully and at the most reasonable price we found for a buffet. Denise + 2 staff were present throughout our reception from setup to tear down.
Our wedding was in that odd couple of weeks when COVID-19 was ramping up but not yet prevalent in Houston; despite mounting anxieties and a ever-changing set of plans, Phoenicia was flexible and ready to provide services in a way that minimized risks to their staff and our guests. They even graciously offered to stick around and serve our desserts (which we'd gotten from another vendor) to minimize guest contact with the food.
I'd used Phoenicia for catering for a small family gathering before the wedding, and when a part of our order mistakenly was sent with another customer (this was for Thanksgiving, when they were super busy), they immediately identified the mistake and had it remade and delivered to our home within an hour. In general, this is a uniquely Houston establishment with just incredible staff. Their menu is wide, their prices are reasonable, but what makes this place special is the professionalism and kindness of a family business. I cannot recommend Phoenicia highly enough, whether for your wedding, pre-wedding events, or even just a cute date night (grab a picnic and head to Discovery Green!). Thank y'all!
