Where do I even start with Peyton? There is SO much to be said about her as a person and her work. SHE IS IT. The absolute best that it comes. From the moment we signed our contract she was so supportive, informative, engaging, and the sweetest soul. I truly feel like she was so much more than just our wedding photographer. She thought of details regarding the wedding day that we hadn’t even thought of, gave us such helpful tips, was a huge part of directing/coordinating the day of the wedding and making sure everyone was where they needed to be! She made us feel so comfortable being authentic and emotional and was just an absolute angel. That is all just the cherry on top - she is an ARTIST, has the most incredible vision and captures the most emotional, raw, detailed moments. She is so gifted - we have only gotten our sneak peeks back and we were completely shaken and rattled going through them. It was more than I could have ever dreamt up and more than I ever expected. They are so perfect and I can’t believe that’s not even all of them! She truly is so special and her work as beautiful as it gets. Anyone getting married - there is absolutely NO ONE like Peyton. I will be her forever cheerleader and pushing everyone to book her! Seriously the best decision we made! Thank you for EVERYTHING Peyton, I am so honored that you were a part of our big day. Peyton is such a joy to have on your wedding day!! She is amazing at what she does and she executes it so well. I cant imagine spending our day with any other photographer! Not only is her work amazing, she is so responsive, talks thru all the details with you, gives amazing guidance on any questions you may have, has incredibly tools to make planning out your photo moments so easy, and is such such a freaking gem!! I cannot even begin to say enough about Peyton's photography skills. Peyton did my husband and I's engagement and wedding photos. For our engagement photos, we went to the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma. If you know me personally, you know that I am not one to pose and take a cute picture haha. But Peyton made my husband and I feel like we could do anything. Our photos looked natural and she captured the love we have for one another. We've had so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos that I just have to write a review! I chose not to do a videographer on our wedding but am so thankful to have spent a little extra for Peyton. I knew before I even met my husband who was going to do my wedding photos because she is just THAT GOOD! I am telling you, I never write reviews, but Peyton is your wedding photographer. Every bride dreams of a perfect day. I dreamed of the perfect photographer, and got that in Peyton Rainey Byford. She was a photographer, coordinator, consultant, and friend all rolled into one. One added perk was having her husband, Colton, as our videographer. The two have an incredible working relationship and modeled what patience, collaboration, and good communication look like as a couple. I discovered Peyton through an Instagram suggestion and immediately fell in love with the cinematic quality and the retro coloring of every frame. During our first screening phone call to ensure we were the right fit for one another, I learned that Peyton was not only a talented photographer, but was also incredibly warm, hilarious, and had a great passion for travel. And I also learned her husband was an equally gifted creative. From the moment Peyton and Colton touched down in Oaxaca, a more under the radar destination wedding location in Mexico, they became part of the fabric of our wedding. They approached the wedding so holistically, getting to know the guests and the city, as well as Tim and I as a couple, which was reflected in the incredibly varied shotlist capturing every element of our dynamic wedding. Peyton and Colton were so energetic but also operated with an air of collectedness that if any last minute changes occurred, they didn't even flinch at the change and pivoted calmly. I cannot emphasize how much their flexibility meant to us. The day before the wedding, we orchestrated a larger-than-life wedding parade called a calenda, carried out through the streets of Oaxaca with 100+ people. Peyton and Colton ran ahead of the crowd and walked backwards, stopping traffic in their tracks, and navigating through busy thoroughfares in the actual streets of Oaxaca. When their drone experienced a malfunction, they were resourceful and managed to take an aerial shot of all our guests from the top of a parked van. It was their willingness to make things happen that I loved most about them. On the day of the wedding, I asked Peyton and Colton to shoot in three different locations and there was no hesitation on their part to meet our needs. When the two were with me and the bridal party in the suite, they showered me with sweet compliments and kept the energy high and the anxieties low. During our getting ready process, my bridesmaids and I were kicked out of the suite due to a booking error. Peyton went above and beyond the task of being a photographer, to helping my mom push the management team towards a compromise. She was able to get them to let us shoot in the hallways while my mom found us a backup room to get ready in. Her husband was supporting us every step of the way, being his considerate and genuinely kind self. They worked tirelessly on our wedding to ensure every moment would be covered. When we finally got the deliverables, needless to say they did a phenomenal job. All the must-have photos were there, and then some, and the video was truly a work of art. Colton stiched together a highlight reel of our two-day wedding in atmospheric wedding compilation that showcased Oaxaca at its best, our love at its finest, and the merriment completely uncontained. The photos and video are priceless and were honestly the best investment of all our wedding purchases by far!

Peyton went above and beyond all expectations, her ability to capture creative and genuine photos on such a special day is unreal and we have only seen the sneak peeks! I am incredibly grateful that we got to book her for our wedding day. She is insanely talented at what she does if you don’t follow her instagram account you absolutely should! Not only is she a talented photographer but also such a sweet and fun person, we truly enjoyed having her be part of our day. I cannot wait to see the rest of our photos!

Peyton's work is pure magic!! She was the photographer for my daughter and son-n-law's engagement pictures as well as their destination wedding pics at Yosemite National Park. They were nothing short of extraordinary!! Peyton is so positive and cheery! She made us all feel so comfortable and put us all at ease from our first skype visit to the wedding reception. She was professional and flexible with our every need. We knew that we had chosen the perfect photographer!

OMG! I can’t even begin to explain how amazing our wedding photos were that we got back from Peyton. She truly exceeded all expectations! Getting to look back at these photos honestly bring tears to my eyes. Peyton is also an amazing person and made our day feel so special.
