Pete’s My DJ was such a great choice for our wedding! From the start, his communication made us feel really comfortable — he was organized, thorough, and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, he worked so smoothly with our ceremony musicians and then kept the reception dance floor full all night. He even played a song twice just for me when I missed it the first time, which really showed how much he cared. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

We hired Pete to DJ our wedding at Starved Rock Lodge in May 2024. It was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding! We had met him at the Starved Rock vendor expo the year prior and had loved his energy and vibe from the moment we met him. He utilizes an app that makes it so easy to plan all the important parts of the day with songs of your choice. His communication is great and he seems truly excited to help you have a good wedding day. He is organized, professional and so so friendly! He helped to keep our dance floor full and really seemed to read the room and play things that kept the party going! The photobooth that came with his DJ set up was a hit with our family and friends and loved that we could see all the pics our guests took. We highly recommend him!!

Pete had GREAT energy and really set the vibe for our wedding. We were recently married and we are so glad we hired Pete. Don’t cheap out on a DJ - they really can make or break the vibe of the reception and are instrumental in keeping things running smoothly. Our dance floor was filled much of the night. We love that Pete not only knows music and how to keep a party going, but also included a photo booth (BIG hit at our wedding) and sound setup for our ceremony/reception, and had us use an easy and helpful mobile app to answer logistic questions and set songs for first dance, processional, etc. This helped with communication and organization, and ensured we didn’t forget anything. He is a skilled professional, listened to what we wanted, was available for questions as needed, and set a final meeting to go over what we wanted for our night. Pete is the MAN. He was so helpful in our planning process right from the start. He was always available to answer emails and hop on a call when we needed. Music at our wedding was very important to us and Pete absolutely killed it. He kept our friends and family dancing at the reception, did a great job with our ceremony, and played our curated playlists at our cocktail hour and during dinner as requested. He helped us stick to our timeline and was flexible with last-minute changes to accommodate anything we needed on the day-of. We also did our photobooth through Pete and it was a HIT! It was a self-serve digital iPad photobooth that all of our guests LOVED! We were able to customize the logo for the images and they all looked great. There were people in front of it all night because it was just so easy to use. The uplighting also looked amazing. Working with Pete was one of our favorite parts of the day and we would recommend him to anyone looking to book a DJ for their wedding or event. Thank you, Pete!!

I honestly cannot recommend Pete’s my DJ enough. Pete is incredibly talented and personable. He provided advice when we needed it, but gave us space to make the wedding our own at the same time. Let's talk about the best DJ I have ever encountered! He was a riot to work with (rather, laugh with!) throughout the planning time leading up to the big day. His special lighting and sweet photo booth helped to really create the party environment for our reception! He never skipped a beat with the music, and completely had the intuition to read the room's vibe to keep the party alive. We could have danced for hours more! Even better? He took sweet snapshots and videos of a few of the special moments!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Originally we had planned for a wedding in November 2020, but because of COVID, we had to push our reception back a year. Pete was extremely flexible with rescheduling. Pete goes above and beyond to make sure the party never stopped! The photo booth was a big hit with our guests and it was fun seeing everybody enjoy themselves. Pete went the extra mile by taking pictures and videos from the reception and posting them to social media. We had so much fun at our event and Pete did an excellent job! We highly recommend having Pete at your next event!

I don't even have enough words to explain how great Pete was for our 10/29 wedding!! From the initial conversation, to the very last interaction at the wedding, Pete was definitely one of our favorite vendors!! He really cares to help you create your perfect wedding day and lets you be as involved (or as not involved) as you want. I literally customized every single playlist because we are huge music fans, and he loved that we wanted to be involved! You can tell he really cares about his clients, it isn't just a business for him.

We didn't have to worry about a single thing with him. He's so personable and is just a great guy. He worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and built relationships with them. A few weeks before our wedding, he worked with our venue's manager to take a tour of the venue so he was familiar with the place! Our venue was in West Town, Chicago which is quite far from where he's from. We really appreciated that he went the extra mile and more!!

He even uploaded detail photos and videos/photos from the reception to his facebook page. It was nice to see some shots right away! Again, something he didn't HAVE to do, but a nice little bonus that we really loved. I would definitely recommend Pete to any of our friends/family/anyone getting married. You won't regret it!

Hire Pete right now! We were recommended him from a friend who saw him at another wedding, and as soon as we met him we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. He takes care of so many details and gave us so much advice outside of what we expected from a typical wedding DJ. His communication was constantly great, he talked out all our ideas with us, and I cannot rave enough how amazing he was the day of. From making sure the ceremony ran smoothly, taking his own videos and pictures, to playing the best variety of music that kept our dance floor going all night! He was on top of every detail always. On top of that he even provided an amazing photo booth that our guests loved and so many little details from uplighting to even making a special mix of our first dance song.
