Peak Hour started as a crew of friends who believed great music could transform any room. Eight years later, we're Portland's most trusted DJ collective — 6 professionals strong, with hundreds of unforgettable events behind us.

How We Got Here

It started in 2018 with a single wedding in the Willamette Valley and a borrowed sound system. Our founder DJ Archer had been DJing clubs and private events for years, but that night — watching a room full of strangers become a family on the dance floor — something clicked.

We built Peak Hour on a simple idea: every event deserves a DJ who actually cares. Not someone running through a playlist, but someone reading the room, feeling the energy, and knowing exactly when to drop the song that makes everyone lose it.

Today we're a collective of 3 professional DJs, each with their own specialty and style. We cover weddings, corporate events, private parties, and now officiant services — all across the Pacific Northwest.
