My son got married in NOLA and I threw the guest a welcome to NOLA cocktail party at Pat O’s on the River. Jennifer Green, sales rep was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond all expectations! The staff that worked the cocktail party were nothing short of great professionalism! Every guest had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cocktails as well as the great food! I highly recommend this venue for any kind of function. You will love having Jennifer Green assisting you in your plans.

Ms Green was great from day one. They worked with us to have our reception . My heart was set on there venue but I didn’t meet the number of guest for Pat o on the river . Ms Green and I were able to arrange a day menu and my guest minimum lowered and we agreed pay for that many although we didn’t have that amount of guest. The reception was perfect . The staff did a superb job. Anthony was my day of event planner and he was just perfect . To be frank the whole staff was perfect . We had some mishaps with our ceremony and our dj ran late due to heavy traffics (bayou classic ) they went up and beyond to get us back on track . It all turned out perfect.

Our sales contact, Jennifer has been an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were a destination couple from Connecticut and were nervous selecting vendors (especially our reception venue) on photos and reviews alone. Jennifer was so responsive to every question I had (and there were a lot of them), she was also so accommodating to every request we had. When we got to New Orleans to drop off our decorations and misc. items Jennifer showed us around the space and helped us visualize how it would look the day of the wedding. We were definitely not disappointed! The space was incredible, we were in the Promenade room, which in the photos honestly looked a bit small, but seeing it in person was a whole other ball game. The views of the Mississippi River were amazing during the day and even more so at night.

The night of the reception when we entered the venue, we were blown away how they transformed the space to exactly how Jennifer had described to us previously. Everything looked amazing. Our bridal coordinator, also named Jennifer, was absolutely incredible. She met us on the street when we rolled up with our Second Line Parade and led us to the space. As soon as we entered the room she swept us away into the bridal suite and got us drinks and a ton of food- we honestly could not eat it all! She made sure that we were taken care of with food and drink not only at the beginning, but throughout the reception. We continuously would put down our drink to take photos/converse with guests and would always end up losing our drinks, Jennifer was on top of it and would always have a new one ready for us.

The guests had nothing but rave reviews about the staff and the incredible food that they prepared for us that night.

The only minor complaint that some guests were commenting on, was that at the end of the night it did not ease down- it was a hard stop at 9:15 pm (understandable, since that is the time we had the space until) but that the police officer on-site was a bit brash in having people stop and exit the premises. I honestly think it was simply that the night went by so quickly, that they weren't aware that it was time to leave. It did not by any means ruin the night, we kept the party going afterwards.

All of our guests that we've spoken to have stated that this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I feel that Pat O's played a huge part in that. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to get married in New Orleans.

I could not have been more pleased with the food, the venue, and above all the people that worked with us. From the first contact until the end of the night, everyone treated my daughter and her fiancé/husband as if they were the most special people on the planet and their night was the most important event that had ever been planned!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat O's on the River was the perfect place for our wedding reception! Although I grew up in New Orleans, I don't currently live there, so it was really hard to actually be in town to see/do anything...Jennifer was AMAZING! She responded to emails quickly, called me if she needed me, answered ALL of my questions...and was just all around awesome! She made the planning process so much easier. The Grande Terrace was a beautiful location for our reception! Our guests loved looking out over the river. The bar was fabulous - having an open bar without having to worry about what drinks to offer, how much people drank, etc. was awesome. And the food...the food was incredible! The boudin balls were my favorite! But everyone loved the food! No one went hungry, not even us. It was just great. Pat O's on the River has the all-around best package - great coordinator, beautiful location, great food, awesome drinks, & great space. I don't regret having our reception here for a second. We have always loved Pat O’s in New Orleans, especially the piano bar, and were thrilled to have our wedding reception at Pat O’s on the River. The reception venue nicely incorporates elements of Pat O’s and of New Orleans (you cannot beat the view of the Mississippi River from the venue’s balcony). We cannot say enough about how easy Pat O’s was to work with, and while I feel this is rare in weddings, it is a great value considering everything that is included in their wedding packages. The service in general is outstanding. Working with Jennifer was like having a wedding planner, which was important as I lived about six hours away from New Orleans. Jennifer offered so many suggestions, was always quick to respond to emails or phone calls, and even reached out to many of my vendors to coordinate details. A couple of days before the wedding, we simply dropped off the items we wanted to use for decorations, talked with Jennifer about how we wanted it set-up, and she took care of everything after that, including re-boxing everything up for us to take home after the wedding. On the day of the wedding, our bridal coordinator made me and my husband feel so at ease. She took us to a separate room where we were given time to relax, eat and have a drink before making our grand entrance at the reception. She even helped me fix a few tears in my dress from the second line and checked on us often to see if we needed drinks, etc! Trust us, if you want to have an amazing wedding that you can enjoy, Pat O’s is the perfect option.

Pat O's on the River was a dream come true for our wedding. We planned a destination wedding and I never had to worry about a single thing. Jennifer Green helped us plan our reception. We flew down for a menu tasting and it was all exceptional. she made everything so easy and helped with important decisions. They set up our decorations better than I ever could. The best part was that they include everything! It was helpful for me that they included the centerpieces, cake, food and drinks. They knew exactly how to coordinate everyone for the sparkler send off and it went 100% perfect. They are so organized and professional. The servers and bartenders were so fun and even danced with us to keep the party going! Our day of coordinator made me feel like a princess. She brought me and my husband food and drinks because we were always talking and unable to sit down. She carried our Mardi Gras beads as we passed them out to guests to make sure we spoke with everyone. She and the whole team truly went above and beyond and everything was flawless! I didn't even know that was possible but they are so good at their trade. Highly recommend to anybody but especially if you live out of town! I wish I could do it again!

It's going to be so hard to convey just how much we LOVED using Pat O'Brien's on the River for our ceremony and reception! Jennifer is so great to work with. She reached out to our florist, bakery, DJ and photographer to assist in set-up processes. She was there for the wedding, too, and brought along an assistant for the day to make sure that my husband and I were never in need of anything! They noted our favorite drinks and made sure that we never had an empty glass, and before the reception started, they both made sure that my husband and I were able to eat and try all of the food (which was so delicious) and enjoy a moment of peace before we entered the party. Additionally, the atmosphere has so much character and was absolutely perfect. I especially loved the copper-top tables and wrought iron details. This was a destination wedding for most of our friends, and they were in awe of the riverboats and streetcars going by outside. It was also wonderful to have a bar on the inside and on the nice covered patio outside, too, for everyone to enjoy. Thank you, Pat O'Brien's on the River, for making our wedding day PERFECT!

Jennifer was the best wedding coordinator. Our wedding was the best wedding of the year. We had guests from London, St. Thimas, Tenn. Ga. North Carolina. Everyone enjoyed the wedding. The food and drinks were outstanding. We are planning another party soon.?

We have eaten at the restaurant and to be able to have our wedding right above it is so exciting, and the price is unbelievable for such a great location.
