“I have thought about how good your wedding band was at least once a week”, is what one of my bridesmaids told me weeks after our wedding. To say she is the only one who gave us this sort of compliment would be an understatement. The number of friends and family who have told us unprompted on how much fun they had on the dance floor that night in September is not totally surprising given how amazing Party Down is, but something that puts a smile on my face every time they are mentioned. They were just that good!

From day one of reaching out to the band and getting in contact with Justin, he was very responsive and attentive to what we envisioned for our reception. In addition to letting us help shape the setlist, Party Down offers DJ sets while the band is on break and during cocktail hour and dinner, which let us add even more of our favorite songs to our day.

Now for the most fun part — once Justin, Rob, Jeff, Alex and Jenane took the stage, the dance floor did not stop all night long. They engaged the crowd through dancing, impromptu guest sing-alongs on the mic, and even took the time to personalize some song lyrics per our request. Part of what makes Party Down so great is that they make their audience feel like they are a part of the performance, and it was so special to us to have that sense of togetherness with our guests on our wedding day. Furthermore, all of the members of the band are so flat-out talented and I am thankful they were able to make the trip to Cincinnati to grace us with their awesome-ness.

Similar to not wanting to leave the dance floor all night long, I could go on and on about how great Party Down is. But simply put, if you are looking for a band that will put the cherry on top of your wedding day, Party Down will not disappoint!

When I was looking for bands I knew I didn't want your typical, stuffy corporate/wedding band like most bands are here in town... I saw Party Down at a tin roof and knew I had to book this group of individuals! It was a ROCK SHOW and me and my friends/family loved them! Easily the best decision I made throughout this wedding vendor process. Justin made it super easy for me and was always available when I needed him (which was a lot).
