Magically memories made in an intimate cathedral
The first time my husband (then boyfriend), stepped into PAUMC, he said "this is the church where I see us getting married". The wedding ceremony at PAUMC was everything we dreamed of – from the cathedral's architecture to the warm delivery of the Pastor Cathy. One guest expressed, "I've never listened to a pastor at a wedding ceremony before, but [Pastor Cathy] spoke as if she were storytelling. I held on to every word." The music, directed by Derrick Byars, will always be remembered as par excellence. We are overjoyed by the memories we have of our wedding day at PAUMC.Sent on 10/23/2019

Welcoming, beautiful, and professional
We are so glad we got married at Park Ave UMC! Pastor Cathy’s wealth of knowledge and experience was incredibly helpful both in planning and guiding us through the actual ceremony. She helped us put together a ceremony that reflected our personalities and love for each other and the joy and gravity of marriage, and we were welcome to included elements from my husband’s different religious background. The church itself is beautiful and full of incredible details, and our photos in the church look gorgeous. We asked Derrick Byars, the church organist, to play for the ceremony. He had excellent suggestions for music to use and played everything beautifully. We are very happy with how everything went and grateful to everyone at Park Ave UMC for helping us make it happen.Sent on 04/26/2020
