I will go where you go. I started officiating weddings because there were not professionals willing drive to dusty roads, hike trails, or climb the summits that couples picked. My specialty is adventure weddings and elopements in and around our National Parks. Across the desert sands of the south to King’s Peak, You pick the place and I will be there. I have loved officiating weddings and being part of a very special moment in two lives. One of my favorite days I have had was December 20th, 2013, the day Utah first allowed same sex marriages. Like many other officiants I turned out to perform ceremonies that day. I was honored to be at the Salt Lake County Clerk’s office with a couple waiting in line to get their marriage license. The line was very long, and by the time we got in the office it was closing time. So I performed the ceremony in the clerk’s office with other couples helping out as witnesses. I ended up performing ceremonies for all the couples also in line so all the marriage licenses could be turned in that day. It felt good to be there for a historic moment and help so many couples in love.
