A Houston native, I'm a graduate of Texas Southern University, where I performed with the jazz band and studied under professional saxophonist Horace Alexander Young. Through that mentorship, I was introduced to and performed with Kirk Whalum and Joe Sample.

My sound lives in the soulful traditions of gospel and R&B — the joy, the heartache, the groove that gets people moving. I've played a wide range of public and private events, including the national anthem for the Kansas City Royals and shows alongside award-winning artist Tony Terry.
