Facilities and Capacity

The over 50-acre grounds include two venue spaces that can be rented separately or together: Osage House, and The Reserve at Osage House. Their Osage House package includes a chapel that has a maximum capacity for 299, and a modern reception hall that can accommodate 428 for dinner style seating, as well as covered outdoor space. The Osage House bridal suite is on the 3rd floor and will have space for hair/makeup, a dressing area, living area, a kitchen area with a breakfast table, and private restrooms with a shower. The Osage House groom’s quarters are in the basement area and will have all of the same amenities as listed above, as well as a pool table and bar area. Also included is a vendor lounge space, where vendors can have their own area to keep their belongings and take a break if needed. The Reserve at Osage House is a similar elegant-modern style building on the opposite end of the property, with designated parking, and space for an outdoor ceremony. The Reserve has reception capacity for 250 dinner seating, restrooms, catering prep kitchen, covered outdoor space, a bridal suite and groom’s quarters. Both interiors feature a neutral color palette, with white walls, polished concrete floors, and floor-to-ceiling black framed windows. Their spaces provide a minimalist style, allowing you to create the look you have been dreaming of, while also exuding a romantic simplicity.

Magical Blend of Outdoor and Indoor Settings

As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of working in many venues, but Osage House truly sets itself apart. I recently photographed a wedding here, and the unique charm and beauty of the venue, particularly the Chapel with its all-glass wall nestled amongst the trees, created a magical blend of outdoor and indoor settings. The result was a collection of stunning and memorable photographs.

But it's not just the physical beauty of Osage House that makes it stand out. The kindness and professionalism of the team, particularly Kenna, Rebecca, and Lauren, added significantly to the overall experience. They went above and beyond to assist me when I accidentally left some of my gear in the bridal suite.

Each photograph I took tells a unique part of the wedding story, set against the extraordinary backdrop of this venue. I am thrilled with the results and look forward to sharing these photos with the Osage House team and photographing more special moments here in the future.

If you're considering a venue for any event, I can't recommend Osage House highly enough. From its enchanting location to its outstanding team, it offers an unforgettable experience.

Deceptive Business Practices

If you are reading this review, it is because you have seen pictures of this venue, know it is beautiful, and want to know if you should spend a lot of money to have either your or your daughter’s wedding there. Do NOT do it.

The majority of these reviews come from their vendors who agree to write reviews in order to be a “preferred vendor” for Osage House.

The main problem is the owner, Ashley Starnes. Some quick context:

Before I booked anything with Osage House, I had the foresight to ask about their cancellation policy. I had many out of town guests coming in and wanted to work around the Razorback football schedule to ensure my guests weren’t paying 3x for hotel rooms. If she had just told me that the deposits were non-refundable, there would have been no issue. But instead, she misled me, as you can see in the screenshot below, into thinking that if I did have to move my date, I would just need to put down a 2nd deposit and that my 1st deposit would simply be returned when the old date re-booked. Well, I ended up having to move the date, due to a home football game on the original date and subsequent 300% increase in hotel costs. I took her word for it and put down a second deposit and was actually told over the phone there was a “99% chance” my original date would book. (I informed them of my decision to move the wedding date of 11-2-24 on 12-17-23).

Over the course of the next 10 months they did almost nothing to book that date knowing that they had 40% of the money ($4400) in their pockets already. They hardly marketed it, instead pretending they were selling-out of dates in order to maintain their image. When asked and pressed on it multiple times, Ashley and her team kept saying they were doing “all they could” even when it was apparent they were not. We even took matters into our own hands, with their recommendation, and marketed this date FOR THEM in order to try and get our deposit back.

Finally, when it was apparent that I was not going to get my money back, Ashley copied an attorney on an e-mail thread of ours when I said I would take additional measures after the wedding. I presume this was because she wanted to make it clear that I had signed “a contract” and was not entitled to the $4400 deposit back.

So to recap, I had my wedding there on 12-7-24, which cost $9,900 and they STILL refused to give me the $4,400 back from the original date. I feel deceived, lied to, and outright stolen from. Ashley will try to get this review removed but luckily the truth is not libel.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at my
e-mail if you have any questions I will be happy to elaborate on all of this further to ensure you do not go through what my wife and I went through leading up to our Wedding Day.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
