We like to introduce to you; OohChic, a DJ couple who brings you more than just music, they bring an experience. Founded in 2009 the owners, DJ La-Ona and the singing DJ, the number 1 vocalist Johnny Kelvin combined eight years of experience, love for music and a smashing style to one single expression. 'don't just look good, FEEL good'.

When everybody else goes back to basic, OohChic turns up the volume, they choose luxury and glamour. Clubs, hotels and theaters are cutting in their budgets, but OohChic wants more, they have a mission and it's about to turn into reality. They bring you an event, what could be defined as unique, never before there was a show with two DJ's in which one is also a singer. Paul Verhoeven (A famous movie director) once described OohChic: 'Often when I watch entertainment I'm asking myself, when will they leave the stage, with OohChic, I only wanted more!'. The mission of OohChic went across the globe when they became the resident DJ's for the F*ck Me I'm Famous tour of David Guetta.

The Amsterdam Business Park holds the head office of OohChic together with Eric van Tijn. The building is located in the capital of the Netherlands and offers plenty of musical impulses. But when you visit OohChic, you will find more than just music. The founders Ona Struwer and Johnny Kelvin talk about emotions, 'in all the years we have been traveling around the world, we were touched by the emotion of the audience. This was so beautiful and powerful, that we made triggering these emotions our mission.' A good example of this is when they performed in front of 350.000 people as the opening act for Symphonica in Rosso. The way that OohChic translates this mission into their live shows has created very positive responses in the club scene as well as the corporate world. So positive in fact that OohChic was the subject of a large international marketing campaign for a Dutch dairy product company. On top of this OohChic has scored a number one hit with the song 'Love Come Home'!

Every single time the DJ's know to amaze the audience when they rock the stage with 28 live artists. They combine house music with a string orchestra, a gospel choir and a mind blowing opera act. Between all this there is also room for percussion solo's, funky saxophone intermezzos and the 3 Diva's of House. The funny thing is that it is not the abundance of acts on stage which amazes the audience but the fun the artists have while doing it. This definitely sets the mood for the entire event. OohChic is all about entertaining and glamour and they know how to work the stage even celebrities can't keep it down when they perform Kevin Spacey and Marissa Tomei spontaneously joined Ona and Johnny on stage during a act by the after party of the Film Festival.

Heading back to the beginning of the text which explains why OohChic goes for glamour and not for basics but that doesn't mean just for the rich and famous. They feel there is a need for this kind of show that is accessible for eve- ryone. With the experience of being the resident DJ's of club Space in Ibiza they know how to create a party which is enjoyable for everybody. That's why now they once a month put together an intimate evening, with in the beginning only a piano and Johnny playing the favorite songs of the audience, followed by a kick ass DJ act by La-Ona. Up until now every single one of these nights has been sold out. Everyone is welcome on one condition; dress in style and bring your high heels, because joining an OohChic party without preparation is like sex without foreplay.
