Olivia Macaron was founded by Michel and Ana Claudia. Michel worked in one of France’s most prestigious macaron houses for over 10 years, where he perfected the art of creating a delicious and beautiful macaron.
He came back to the USA with his family and started a very successful online business selling his creations. Ana Claudia had been working in finance for a mortgage conglomerate until little Olivia came into the picture.
When Olivia was born, Ana Claudia decided to leave the finance world to take on a more challenging job, taking care of her little daughter.
Michel and Ana Claudia met soon after Olivia was born and came to the realization that with Ana Claudia’s business savvy and Michel’s technical expertise they would make an unbeatable team with the goal of bringing the best macarons to the people of DC.
None of this would have been possible if it hadn’t been for little Olivia. So in her honor, we bring you Olivia Macarons.

When pricing out options, we discovered Olivia Macaron and let me tell you - they were a TOTAL hit. Everyone preferred them to Wedding Cake - they were able to grab and go back to the dance floor!
Also (and I agree!), people were telling us that they were some of the best macarons they have ever had, and each flavor was absolutely perfect. We ordered the ten-tier option plus extras, and we should've ordered more because of how much they were loved!
Highly recommend the Champagne Flavor, Pistachio and Salted Caramel -- Also the Chocolate and Vanilla were amazing!

We used Olivia Macaron for our wedding 'cake'. I initially reached out to them last summer to get things booked for our February wedding. They had some personnel turnover so we had some issues initially getting them to get back to us. However, once we started working with their new catering manager, Joseph, things were much better. The macaron tasted absolutely amazing and we ended up being happy with them. They wouldn't let us finalize the flavors until a few days before the wedding because they didn't know what their flavors of the month would be until then (our wedding was on the 6). It would have been nice to not have to wait that close to the wedding to decide on this, but not a deal-breaker.
In the end, I would definitely use Olivia again in the future despite these small hiccups, and definitely recommend them to others.
