Top notch dj- the best

Absolute BEST DJ. Thank goodness we found Cali at Olive Tree Entertainment. Our wedding was a major success and a big part of that was the music throughout the event. Cali was extremely friendly, kind, and he listened to us carefully when explaining our vision. Then he executed it perfectly! He played guitar live as our guests arrived, soft music during our ceremony, and then had everyone dancing their hearts out during the reception. HIGHLY recommend Olive Tree. You will not find better!

Would highly recommend! Our favorite vendor for our wedding. ◡̈

Cali was absolutely amazing! We ordered the silver package for our wedding recently. Cali had a very thorough meeting with us a week before the wedding and we felt confident going into our event. Cali provided sound services for our ceremony, social hour and reception despite inclement weather and the event being outdoors. He kept the dance floor alive and went with the flow. He was very friendly and awesome! We had so many friends and family come up afterwards to us and tell us how much they loved his performance and services. Would highly recommend working with Cali for your next event! ◡̈

It was as if we were at a music festival...

We had an incredible experience with Cali at our outdoor wedding in Taos. Throughout the process it was easy to communicate with him and he helped us to really prepare and personalize the music. He is a rare combination of a skillful sound technician, talented musician, and an all around kind person. I came up with an extensive list of electronic (drum N bass and house) music and he executed it perfectly--the sound quality was phenomenal and I was watching guests dancing the entire time. He was able to seamlessly weave his music selections in and out of our playlists and it kept the crowd engaged and the night flowing. We are so lucky to have found Cali! I cannot recommend him enough.

Stop looking book Olive Tree

Cali with Olive Tree Entertainment was amazing! We gave him a small list of songs and he created an entire playlist that perfectly summed us up. The best part however was his live acoustic renditions of our favorite songs that we got to walk down the isle to. I cannot recommend Cali and the guys at Olive Tree enough!

100000/10 highly recommend!

I was so excited when I found Cali to be our entertainment! We had a pretty tricky venue for our wedding- multiple locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and I am really picky about my music. But from the conversations with Cali leading up to the big day I was confident that he had everything under control. I am also pretty picky about my music and Cali did a great job working with my desired playlist while also reading the room and including dance floor bangers. He also sang and played guitar during the cocktail hour, which added the perfect touch to our day. Cali went above and beyond, from setup, to learning a song just for us, to excellent communication, and I was so happy with how everything turned out.

Cali kept the party alive!

I am so thankful I found Cali through wedding wire. He has 5 star reviews for a reason! From the moment I first spoke with Cali, he was on it. He made our wedding night so special. We had many guests come up to us and tell us how good of a DJ and MC he is. I can’t thank you enough Cali! It was a pleasure working with you.

Marriage proposal

I hired Cali to help me with a unique wedding proposal. My wife and I are dog lovers and would frequent a certain park with them. I thought it would be special to propose to my then girlfriend at this park. I asked Cali to play a few songs that i requested, including a song that would become our wedding song. Cali learned the song especially for us. Another ask of mine was for Cali to hide in the bushes…literally while my wife abs I walked our dogs nearby. The plan was for Cali to pop out of the bushes as soon as we passed by. The plan was executed perfectly! I appreciate Cali’s willingness to adapt to such a random idea. I would definitely recommend Cali to anyone as he’sa great person abs amazing musician!

Amazing!!!!! Must Hire

Wow!!! What a gift to have found Olive Tree! We were in a pinch at the last minute ready to spend thousands on a handful of vendors to do AC, ceremony music, and DJ and he did it all!!!

He sang with guitar for the ceremony, music for cocktail hour, music and AV for dinner, full DJ for the party. He even had lights and great music.

He is so easy to work with and I cannot say enough how much we loved him!!!!

All in one! Musician/DJ!!

This talented singer/songwriter/guitar-playing DJ was incredible! From singing and playing thoughtful songs before, during and after the ceremony to opening his vast catalogue of music to get EVERYONE on the dance floor, Cali Shaw nailed it!!
