The magic and ancient Lebanese Cedar tree, over 250 years old, will witness your promise of eternal love. It is located in the garden of the old ruin of the farm, near the wineries. Views of the windmill, vineyards and olive groves will amaze you and your guests.
For civil weddings, the ceremony can be celebrated on our estate under the cedar tree or at the wine cellars, but also in the Municipal office at the council of Pontassieve, located in the historic part of the town.
After the ceremony you and your guests will enjoy your aperitif, set up in the large meadow in front of the Old Mill with a breathtaking view of the hills or through the rows of the vineyard.
Our Event space, named after the old windmill boasts not only a genuine Tuscan cuisine, but also from the terrace a spectacular view of the vineyards, as well as unforgettable and romantic sunsets on the Florentine hills. The tables are arranged on the terrace and inside, with a total capacity of 150 people. The service is attentive and professional, with the goal of creating the ideal atmosphere for your magic event. You and your guests will enjoy the whole reception, from aperitif to the wedding cake, then will end your unique day with a fantastic party: music, dancing and open bar !

Team of Old Mill
I have many years of experience in this field, first as a very young DJ then afterwards as a Bartender, Sommelier and then Maître. I am also proud of the fact that as a young man, I was the assistant cook in Los Angeles at the Italian Trattoria “Gino’s” where perhaps it all started.
I have travelled far and wide both in the kitchen as well as in commercial experiences; from major Italian catering services for dinners and events, including some of the greatest organizers and wedding planners worldwide to the fashion world, doing cocktail parties and trendy events.
While I am a marketing and communications expert, my real passion is the Art of Cooking.
As the founding owner of Le Cirque Firenze, my experience is at your service with ideas, new menus, exotic Provençal and northern European essences, then decorative styles, wines … ask me and I will fulfil your dreams, as the concept of « impossible » doesn’t exist in my vocabulary. I consider myself a “crazy dreamer” and everything is do-able; come with me, we will have fun!
