My husband and I picked this church the moment we saw it. The beautiful stained glass captivated both of us. With that said, we expected that same glass to be there on our wedding day. About a month before the wedding we received an email from one of the curators of the building, letting us know that our dreamy, enchanting stained glass window would be replaced by a cardboard replica of the original piece. With no mention of any kind of refunding or discounting of price, we just kind of..went along with it, hoping it wasn't so bad. It wasn't so bad, in the end - but I was and still am very disappointed with it. I feel as though we should have gotten reimbursed for the window not being in place, because that is one of the most beautiful features and honestly - probably one of the biggest reasons we decided to go with the church to begin with. With all of that aside, my experience in the church was an overall good one. Walking down the aisle was a treat. I just wish it could have been what I imagined it would have been.
