Old Carolina Barbecue Company is a wedding caterer based out of Altoona, Pennsylvania serving Altoona,Johnstown, Indiana, State College, Bedford, and Latrobe. For more than 18 years, this restaurant has brought award-winning barbecue to celebrations throughout Ohio and is now bringing that barbecue to Central Pennsylvania. The company began in 2003 when the chefs toured the Carolinas and learned the secrets of True Q. They gathered generations-old recipes and wisdom from road-side shacks and brought their knowledge back north to Ohio. They have since opened 10 locations across Ohio and Pennsylvania, where they slow-cook meats for 14 hours over hickory fires and hand-make all their sauces. Old Carolina Barbecue Company's wedding catering package comes with two meats, two sides, and the choice of cornbread, dinner rolls, or buns. Meat options include hand pulled pork, smokehouse pulled chicken, sliced brisket, hickory smoked ribs, and more. Sides such as coleslaw, country beans, hot apple sauce, and macaroni and cheese are also available. In addition, you can enjoy appetizers such as chicken tenders, fruit plates, and cheese platters. Full-service catering can be delivered to your venue, or you can pick up your order.
