Based in Redmond, Washington, Off the Vine Catering is a family-owned provider of delicious, mouth-watering wedding cuisine. Owners Jessica and Tim Borrelli started this company in 2014 and have been serving up fun, entertainment, and scrumptious food ever since. They are happy to help hosts of both large and small occasions. Working together, they cover all the bases, from management to culinary delights.

Cuisine

Executive Chef Jessica uses ingredients that are local and in line with the season. Her made-from-scratch cooking influences an authentic and completely customizable menu, ideal for those that wish to tailor their event to specific needs. Alongside Jessica, Tim uses his management skills to empower joyful and convivial interactions, making sure that all the details are accounted for along the way. The food was so good

We planned our Washington wedding from San Diego but were luckily able to fit a tasting in 4 months before the wedding. Jessica prepared SO many courses for us to try and tried to cater it to what we as a couple enjoy (from the initial survey they give you).
We were pretty certain going into wedding planning that for food, we'd offer two proteins, one seafood and one meat, as the options to our guests. My husband, who is from Washington, insisted on salmon (because he was certain Californians have never had good salmon), and the other would most likely be steak. Nonetheless, during the tasting, we tried the cod and it was INCREDIBLE. We added it into our menu and it was the best decision ever. I thought maybe because they'd be mass producing it on the day of the wedding, it might not be as good as we tried it during our private tasting. FALSE.
Our guests RAVED about the food. During the wedding as we ate, I was so sad I would most likely never have this food again. Everything, from the brussel sprouts, to the steak, to THE COD, to the carrots, to the salmon, were SO. GOOD.
Tim also chased us down during cocktail hour and ensured we got appetizers to eat.

We also loved that they tried to be sustainable in everything they used, as much as possible, AND we had the option to let them donate our food if there were leftovers. It was the small things, like them giving us the option to set out salads on the tables for guests to dive into while they waited for their table to be called for the buffet, or letting us know the pros and cons to buffet vs. service, or passed vs. not passed appetizers. Their attention to detail and kindness gave us peace leading up to the wedding.

All in all, 11/10 would recommend these lovely humans and their business.

Five Stars from Two Veg Heads!

We can't say enough good things about working with Off the Vine! Tim and Jessica were genuine, attentive, and engaged from our very first email. We were struggling to find vegetarian catering for our wedding that wasn't just one pasta or one pile of roasted vegetables. Not only did Off the Vine have a plenty of veggie options to choose from, they were excited to do a vegetarian menu! We still dream nightly about their mushroom wellington. Even received high praises from Midwest meat-and-potato family members! Beyond stellar food, their full-service support was next level. They made rentals painless and were quick to accommodate any needs. And I mean ANY, including the needs of a bride who broke her leg the week before her wedding. Tim was there at the reception with an extra chair for my leg and brought over food so I didn't need to stand up. If you want caterers that truly care and do it all, go with Off the Vine!

Best Caterer Ever!

I highly recommend Off the Vine Catering! We chose four of the highest rated caterers in our area from Wedding Wire and The Knot. After completing tastings from all four companies, we chose Off the Vine. They gave us more choices during our tasting, and revised recipes to meet the couple’s wishes and dietary needs. Jessica said “we are here to make your day special” and that is exactly what they did! We had guests state that was the best catered food they had ever tasted! The salmon was amazing, as was the NY steak, but the star of the show was Jessica’s Brussel Sprouts that won over people who didn’t think they would like them. Tim was amazing, calm, and always a step ahead. There are no worries when Tim and Jessica cater for you! What an absolute delight!
