About

Under new ownership and an extensive renovation, Off Shore Event Center is one of Bellevue, Iowa's most beautiful wedding venues.

Our riverfront facility features breathtaking views across the mighty Mississippi and can accommodate both your ceremony and reception. Our large, covered patio seats up to 200 guests, features an expansive view of the Mississippi river and is the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony. The indoor event space comfortably accommodates 350 guests and includes a fully stocked bar and personalized catering menu by our onsite executive chef. Not only do we offer this state-of-the-art facility, but we also have a hotel onsite. This will allow your out-of-town guests to arrive in advance and settle in before your event. Guests who arrive early or want to stay an extra day will also be thrilled with the excellent food and service featured at our on-premise restaurant, Off Shore Bar and Grill. During the summer months, we also offer a state-of-the-art outdoor aquatics area, which is included with each hotel stay.

The Off Shore property features all the accommodations you and your guests will require for a perfect wedding day or an extended weekend experience.

Venue was perfect....Hotel another story

Offshore Venue was perfect for our daughters wedding. Emily was AMAZING to work with, she was very professional, got back to me with all of my questions in a timely manner. Overlooking the Mississippi River was perfect spot for the wedding. Highly recommend the Event Center. The Hotel is a different story, they need some help getting organized and working on the customer service. When we had questions we always felt that it was such an inconvenience for the front desk to answer or to find the answer. They seem to cater more to the Resort more than the wedding guest.

The new renovations are amazing!

This place is a beautiful venue that is right along the Mississippi! There were a couple of times where there was miscommunication, but that was nothing compared to the positives of having my wedding there. The staff was accommodating and brought out heaters when it was a cold day in November. Our guests went straight to the event centre after the ceremony and the bar was ready for them as soon as they came in! This place is a secret beauty and you will get so many compliments on your venue if you have your wedding here!

The Shore event staff were very good to work with. There were a few minor misunderstandings that took place leading up to and during the event but they were taken care of. The view of the Mississippi was incredible. All the guests commented on what a beautiful place it was. They were a little hard to get a hold of sometimes but answered all my emails promptly. Over all they were very flexible and easy to work with and the facility is almost brand new. A great place for a wedding reception.

Not very accommodating or professional, but the girl we worked with got fired after our wedding. Not sure who is in charge now and what they're like. Really good price though, so I was kind of expecting some kinks :-)

Great location with patio on the river, staff seemed inexperienced and were way underpowered for the event. We were disappointed with executing services. Mixed up simple requests regarding bar service (we wanted open bar and they charged all guests), timing, staff, etc. I would still use the space again, as it's perfectly located and has a great hotel attached. I would reccomend micromanaging and following up on each request and conversation to ensure everything gets done.
