Gerard’s catering services—food and staff—were a perfect 10 for our wedding! We gave Gerard a budget and asked for a fun, somewhat non-traditional wedding dinner and he delivered perfectly. We had stations with brisket, amazing mac & cheese, and green beans plus another station with tacos and other Mexican dishes. Our guests loved the fun approach to the food and Gerard nailed the balance of making it delicious but still wedding appropriate. The guests also RAVED about the appetizers during the cocktail hour. The buffalo chicken meatball (with celery stick), mini quesadillas, and Asian beef shortrib were an ideal mix of easy to eat plus delicious and substantive (our dinner wasn’t until 8p, so guests were hungry).

A special and well deserved shoutout to Gerard’s wait staff that worked our wedding. They. Were. Amazing. They read us as a couple and the crowd, and could tell everyone was ready to have fun, so they made sure we did—all while providing excellent and professional service. There wasn’t an ounce of stuffiness to them and they made us feel like they were really having fun serving the crowd, as opposed to watching the clock waiting for the night to be over. For weeks after the wedding people were raving about the food—and staff!—provided by Gerard and his team.

Going with Occasions Catering was the best decision that we made. Gerard was so responsive to every question that we had and so accommodating to all of our requests, concerns, etc. Marshelle was also wonderful and helpful in the weeks leading up the wedding to ensure everything was ready to go. We originally picked them because of how affordable the food was, but I’m so happy we went with them because of how many of our guests RAVED about the food. Both my husband and I both loved our food as well and were so grateful for the wonderful service we received to make sure we ate and had drinks in our hands. The bartenders were also a favorite and kept up with everyone’s requests. All in all absolutely amazing!

Gerard and his entire team was fabulous! We are so glad we went with Occasions Catering. From the initial call to the tasting to the final walk through, Gerard was professional and worked with us through it all. The food is incredible! We received so many compliments on our food. My husband wanted to include a craft beer tasting, and Gerard offered ideas to help bring it to life and with the logistics. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and he didn't hesitate to accommodate. The staff was friendly and attentive during the reception. Gerard and the entire Occasions Catering team delivers a service that is top notch.
