Oakhurst Event Facility is a farm wedding venue located in West Point, Georgia. Nestled within 150 acres of private land, the venue features stunning views of the farm’s low hills, fields, and lakes. This family-owned farm is over a century old, giving the picturesque setting a historic charm. It is an ideal destination to celebrate your love surrounded by the serene Georgia countryside.

Facilities and Capacity

Oakhurst Event Facility has several enchanting locations for indoor and outdoor events. The Main Hall boasts 8,000 square feet of space for dining and dancing. Its large stone heath and grand staircase serve as elegant backdrops for photos. The hall can accommodate up to 200 guests, or 350 if its covered porches are used. Couples have multiple options for outdoor ceremonies. The waterfront spaces, such as the dock or gazebo, are popular choices as they offer panoramic views of the lake. Additional features on the property include the bridge leading to the gazebo and the koi pond complete with stone waterfall. Before the ceremony, the wedding party can get ready in the property’s two dressing suites. The Bridal Suite is complete with a large jacuzzi tub soak in, while the Groom’s Suite is ideal for relaxing prior to the festivities.

Services Offered

This venue welcomes couples with genuine southern hospitality. They operate on a one-event-per-day policy, allowing newlyweds and their guests to celebrate in private. Wedding-related events, including engagement parties and showers, can be accommodated here. Their staff is on-hand on the wedding day to ensure the event runs smoothly. They provide setup and cleanup of tables, chairs, and place settings, as well as a variety of decor. Executive Event Coordinator, Alexis, can help organize weddings and offer industry advice. There are several packages to choose from, catering to everything from elopements to grand events. The farm hosts a biannual bridal show where engaged couples can visit the venue and meet prospective vendors. A list of preferred vendors is available to help streamline the wedding planning process and ease some of the stress.
