Steven is simply the best. We were looking for a photographer who could honestly capture our wedding and were not interested in formal wedding photo shots. We looked at a number of photographers that did wedding photojournalism but felt they missed the mark in capturing the feeling of the moment or were simply out of budget. I know there's a lot that goes into developing this skill – being able to move quickly, reading light, framing it just right – skills he clearly brings with a past in photojournalism. He knows exactly how to do this and isn't just a wedding photographer trying to capitalize on this style of photography. Everyone who looks at the photos is immediately transported back to that day, that moment… They are amazing.

He did take photos of my husband and I in a more romantic light – but they are not posy or cheesy. They seem natural and beautiful. He was so unobtrusive – I did not even notice him moving throughout the event and was just blown away by everything he captured that evening. Steven even made a site visit with us and our coordinator before the wedding to get a better sense of the layout and he was the first one on site the day of the wedding.

We received our digital images so quickly. A few posted via Facebook before anyone else could post personal snaps of the wedding. The prints are simply gorgeous and he hand delivered them and our large framed print. The quality is amazing. He's a great guy to work with on all fronts – great communication. We felt he put in an amazing effort on our wedding photos and highly recommend him!
