Had a wedding on Commodore Cruises, DJ Dan was our guy. He was our MC and music provider, my family is not so much the dancing types, so he did a great job with filler and mood music, announcing scenic views during our cruise, reminding people to sign guestbook/take favors etc. He was easy to work with, and my guests loved him.

Even after his first email went to spam and I didn't realize it until 2 weeks before the wedding, which meant I literally handed him our music selections 10 days before showtime, he was on point!

DJ Dan is a really friendly and great guy. During wedding planning, we requested to meet him, and were able to do so 2 weeks before the wedding, during which we discussed all our special requests for him:
- have 2 microphones available for our singers
- play instrumental music in the background for our dinner singers
- be a lively emcee and keep the flow of the night going
- never play more than 1 min 30 sec of a song = he calls this a "mashup"
- play songs for the dance in groups roughly in chronological order (e.g. oldies first, then 80s, 90s, and modern music at the end of the night)
- we gave him some international language songs on a USB drive and also specified which songs we wanted him to play for ceremony entrance/recessional, cake cutting, unity ceremony, last dance etc.

DJ Dan did a great job on providing the two microphones for the singers, playing the correct songs for the major events (ceremony entrance/recessional, cake cutting/unity ceremony, first dance, bridal party dance, and last dance). Everything else, however, was a disaster. :( Which is really unfortunate because we were very excited to work with him and were completely trusting of him after we met him in person.

1. The instrumentals for our dinner singers was the biggest thing that every single guest noticed. The instrumental music faded out whenever the singer sang, and came back in whenever he wasn't singing. My singer trooped on and sang the entire song basically acapella. Afterwards, DJ Dan told my new husband that there was something wrong with the mp3 provided. That's strange...because my singer did a sound check with DJ Dan just a couple hours prior, and it was fine then. DJ Dan told my OTHER singer that the microphone and music were on the same channel, and that's why one cut out when the other one had input. Conflicting stories, though I do think the second story is more credible. He then told my other singer that it wouldn’t happen when it was his turn, and to go ahead a
