No matter who is tying the knot: Black, Brown, Latino, Asian, LGBTQ+ and everyone in-between; Northern Sound wants the privilege and the responsibility to service your wedding!

We at Northern Sound believe our 200+ successful weddings gives us the experience and wisdom to provide the best
DJs, Photo Booths, and Videographers for your big day without breaking the budget!

We specialize in a polished audio and light show, enthusiastic MCs, authentic photo booths, and the BEST videography package in the Twin Cities!

  • DJ - MC duties and music from ceremony through the end of the night!
  • Photo Booth - 3-Hours of Unlimited on-the-spot prints!
  • Videography - Over 45 minutes of edited footage backed up for 1-year!

When booking with Northern Sound, each couple will be able to meet their DJ or videographer a month ahead of their event date. This ensures you get to make a connection with your DJ/Videographer and plan out a truly special day.

Only a $100 deposit and signed contract is needed to secure your date! Your remaining balance isn't due till AFTER the wedding!

Spectacular!

Brent our DJ was a dream to work with. The added layer of covid and us coming from out of town never stopped our DJ from engaging with us through zoom and emails. The songs were filled with energy and love and it was a beautiful night of karaoke and dance. So professional, timely, reassuring and fun! Thank you!

Autumn Summers stole the show!

Northern Sound Entertainment did a great job at our wedding! Tom and Brent were communicative, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help make our day special. Our guests particularly loved our DJ, Autumn Summers, whose drag performance was fantastic! Amazing DJ!

Tom was our wedding DJ this past weekend and we would recommend him over and over again to anyone! He was so responsive to all my emails and questions. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how great he was! My husband and I told him to read the room during the dance and he nailed it! We had people dancing all night long and he played so many requests from guests. If you need a DJ, contact Tom! We are so grateful to him!

Excellent, got people up!!

Our experience with this company was top notch. Not only did Brent help get people on the dance floor, but many commented on how good he was. He was able to change things up on the fly and I enjoyed every bit of our time with him. From consult to the actual day. He did the ceremony and reception.

Pro service!

The staff went above and beyond, even with rain! They kept people on the dance floor, were easy to work with, and when the photo booth had camera issues he was quick to fix the issue. Cannot recommend them enough!

Excellent experience

I can’t even begin to explain how pleased we were with working with Northern Sound. We used their DJ and Videography package which was reasonably priced and very high quality work! Since we did the package we had 2 people at the venue but they worked together well. Tom was the videographer and assisted the DJ. We liked that they did a face to face meeting prior to the wedding date to talk about expectations and songs/type of music we expected. Tom also brought the equipment for the videography part which included a drone which was perfect for our outdoor wedding venue. Tom was able to capture such special moments from our day, small things like when we held hands or the goofy cute moments, and compiled them in such a way that made us feel “all the feels” we had on our wedding day. In terms of the DJ Experience, this too was exceptional. Again with our outdoor wedding you would have never known it was outdoors with how good the quality of their equipment was. Our guests were having such a fun time we asked the DJ to stay one extra hour which was SO nice of them after a long hot day. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality, affordable option for wedding DJ and/or Videography.

The perfect DJ experience

We worked with Tom, who did an outstanding job making our special day come true. He was easy to work with, and he helped us with music for our ceremony and reception. The second the first dance was over, he kept the dance floor full for the rest of the night by playing great music and making the dance fun. Northern Sound was easy to work with, affordable, and overall, provided a great experience!
