Sergio and his team at Nora Spanish Catering were rockstars at our wedding! First, we were victims of having to move our wedding 3 times due to COVID, and the team at Nora was always so positive, flexible and supportive as we navigated the craziness. When it finally came time to celebrate this May (2021), everyone was completely FLOORED by the quality of food provided.

The appetizers were incredible (they even made a gorgeous plate for us post nuptials to enjoy during photos!), fresh/hot/tasty. And of course, the paella was a huge hit. It was a beautiful, interactive experience for guests to watch the paella come to life during cocktail hour, and was SOOOOOO TASTY! We had three types of paella available, and the servers were very generous with portions, while making sure everyone was able to try all three if they wanted. There was plenty of food to go around, and offer seconds to those interested.

The team was great to work with and our venue had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. They also helped coordinate all rentals needed for the evening which was such a nice perk (and we got a 10% discount!).

We can't wait to enjoy their paella at their restaurant and re-live our wedding dinner!

We hired Nora Spanish Cuisine to cater the welcome dinner for our wedding and got *so* many glowing reviews from our guests. We ordered the Paella de Pollo, Paella de Carne, Paella Huertana, Ensalada Verde, Montadito de Piquillo, Tortilla, Ceviche, and Champignones Rellenos con Chorizo, and it was all absolutely delicious. A few highlights for me were the Paella de Carne and the Ceviche!

I had an absolutely great experience with Nora's Spanish Cuisine. I worked with Emily and her team and they were amazing. They were perfectly professional and were very easy to work with. They also helped with some set up and cleanup support. Emily went above and beyond to help us make our day special. Their team made our wedding event so great. Our guests kept raving about the food! The paella was delicious and the tapas were so yummy and beautiful. The dessert platter was also very fun. There was an assortment of desserts.

Emily helped with getting us rentals as well. I'm just reliving the wedding day and I'm impressed by their team. The food was so unique and exactly what we wanted for our day!! Thank you so much to Nora's for making our day and our guest's experience super memorable.

We used Nora's Spanish catering for our wedding rehearsal dinner for 70 people and loved it! They were easy to work with throughout the process and very responsive. The presentation was beautiful and fun for guests to watch the paella making, and surprisingly affordable. There was a ton of food leftover which they boxed up. Also my husband went to Berkeley and liked La Marcha so we knew we would like the food, although they only offer tastings for weddings.

Seeing Serg & his crew develop his business from a pop up to a catering business all the way to a brick & mortar restaurant in La Marcha is inspiring.

Paella & Spanish food hold a special place in my heart as I have lived with a family in Spain, as well as my family creating a Christmas tradition of cooking it as an antithesis to the Turkey of Thanksgiving.

It's important that those here in the states get the flavor right & follow the traditions of the Spanish cuisine, which Nora perfects. What really helped in this decision is basically they treated us like family.

So...when it was time to plan for our wedding, my wife & I knew not only did we want paella, but we knew Nora was the place to go.

From the beginning, with our tasting with Adrian, it was clear we made the right choice. She was very responsive and worked well with us our wedding coordinator and the venue seamlessly. We also know it was a big task to get her staff & equipment down to the Watsonville hills since they are based in the Bay Area. We were concerned that extra costs would add up. She worked with us to make sure it didn't.

They were very flexible with the changes in numbers & variations in what we ordered.

On the wedding day, they did arrive late, but with Santa Cruz/Route 17 traffic, I don't find it alarming. We were starting to sweat a little, but what was amazing is despite this, they got set up quickly and did not delay our schedule at all!

The paella was fantastic, the Brussels were off the hook. The apps were amazing(although I didn't get to try too many as I was floating around too much!) It was great, we had a mixed seafood paella, a seafood, chicken & meat paella & a veggie/vegan paella, something for everyone!

EVERYONE at the wedding kept raving about the food. Not only because It just fit perfectly with what we wanted to achieve. The day/night was magical and that was in part ot Adrian, Serg & their fabulous staff!

We recently hired Nora Spanish Catering for our wedding and can't say enough great things about them! We ordered three different kinds of paella (mixta, mushrooms, and seafood), tapas (patatas bravas, piquillos, champiñones), bruselas, ensalada naranja, and the sweet bar for a party of 160 people. The food was a major hit and several of our guests said it was the best food they had at a wedding. Service the day-of was excellent and everything went smoothly.

We worked closely with Adrian, who was super organized, friendly, responsive, and flexible throughout the wedding planning process. She worked with our budget, attended a site visit with us, and was more than willing to make multiple revisions to our menu. I highly recommend hiring Nora for your event!

Let me start by saying THANK YOU to Adrian and the entire Nora team! From my first inquiry through the completion of our wedding, Nora's team was the utmost professional and helpful. We booked them for our 200 person March 2017 wedding outside Half Moon Bay. The food, service and presentation were absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend Nora for your next event!

Food: we were sold the minute we ate our first mushroom croqueta! I was impressed with both our tastings but more importantly, I was impressed on the day of our wedding, when the team cooked for 200 guests. Nora's food is flavorful, colorful and creative:
*Tapas: tortilla, caprese, piquillos, championes (highly recommend the piquillos and the championes!)
*Ensalada verde (we added goat cheese), bruselas (must have!)
*Paella: mixta, marinera, huertana (all were delish)

Service: Nora is a full service catering company at a reasonable price. In particular, Adrian, the event manager, helped us meet our budget goals, suggested great menu selections and reviewed our rental contract. We met with Adrian three times: the first tasting, the venue walk-through and the final tasting. Throughout the process, she was easy to communicate with and accommodating. The staff on the day of our event was incredibly friendly and professional. I had several guests compliment the team:)

Presentation: one of Nora's biggest selling points is their presentation. They cook the paella outside in massive vats that showcase the paella's beautiful colors and aromatics. It's almost an event in itself and a great talking point for your guests.

I hired Nora as the caterer for my wedding last October, and it went beautifully. I worked primarily with Adrian and Ama, and on the day we had Emily (one of the cofounders, I think?) overseeing everything.

We went to Berkeley for a tasting and fell in love with the paella right away. It's amazing, and the unique part is that they cook it in huge pans outside which can be part of the experience.

Adrian was our main point of contact and she made everything easy. She was very professional, and even when we were a little worried about tying up some details with our coordinator, Adrian was on top of things. She came out to the venue a couple times -- all the way to San Francisco -- which was awesome. On the day, the servers made everything go smoothly -- bar was set up, dinner was set up, dessert was ready to go on time, and they helped with the cake cutting (on request). It was such a relief to have them taking care of everything!

Also I will say that I had to adjust the food a lot over the months based on our budget -- we cut the cocktail hour tapas, for instance -- and overall Nora was really easygoing with all that. I didn't feel pressured or locked in to anything.

Everybody loved the food. Even my older relatives who I was nervous wouldn't like anything too "exotic" said, "I don't know what that rice stuff was, but it was so good!" Also the bartender was generous with the cocktails, everyone commented they were strong but not complaining about that. Such a fun night.

Only tip is ask for to-go boxes! The night flew by and I wish I'd had more time to eat and take some home for later.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Nora Catering, and particularly Ama, Nora's event coordinator. We knew we lucked out at our first tasting and when we met Ama and immediately got super excited about working with her and her staff. Ama made everything seamless and so simple - we had such a stress free wedding day, a lot of which has to be credited to Ama and her excellent staff! She literally thought of everything before I/anyone had to say anything - THANK YOU, AMA!

The food is beyond delicious - both in the restaurant, at the tasting AND at the wedding (which is a huge feat when cooking for a large crowd). The majority of our guests commented on the amazing food (veggie and mixed paella, brussel sprouts, naranja salad and mixed tapas) and mentioned it was by far the best wedding food they had tasted. We also had many comments on how excellent Ama and her staff were.

I would highly, highly recommend Ama, her staff, and Nora catering without any hesitation!

We hired Nora Spanish Catering for our son's wedding in Watsonville at Wildwood Estate and Gardens. We worked with Adrian there and we could not have been happier. From our tastings through execution on the day of the event Adrian and her staff were incredibly professional and helpful. We had passed tapas for appetizers and paella and salad for the buffet dinner. The guests loved watching the paella being made and they raved about how good it was to eat. The best part - it is piping hot when the guests get it - not that typical cold plated, boring wedding food. Can't say enough about how good it was. They were the best vendor we worked with and I highly recommend them.
