Our New Park wedding was like a fairytale. We cannot say enough good things about the venue and staff at New Park. When we booked the venue in early March 2020, we signed our contract with Jamie. In early 2021, New Park sold to a new owner, Sara. We weren't sure what to expect with Sara but she soon reached out and set up a video call with us. We immediately felt at ease with Sara as she answered all of our questions and was so organized and thoughtful. She was also there to answer all of our questions about the changing rules and regulations with Covid and always kept us in the loop. Sara helped us plan everything for our big day and made sure we had a backup plan in case of rain.

New Park is such a magical and beautiful place with so many unique spots both inside and outside. We definitely took advantage of all that New Park has to offer. We had our rehearsal dinner in the amazing pavilion where Sara and her team set up a farmhouse style dinner table. We got ready in our wedding suite with hair and makeup on site. We got married at the beautiful ceremony spot in the woods and then the dancing pavilion and dinner tent kept us dry from the rain. After the reception, we had an after party in the Wish Room with a bonfire. Finally on Sunday, we had brunch in the Wish Room. All of our guests kept commenting on how magical and beautiful the venue was! We even had several people inquire about getting married there themselves. Sara and her team helped make any request we had a reality like having a ping pong table outside for our guests to play. They even offered to run errands for us throughout the weekend.

Sara and her team also totally updated the beautiful rooms at New Park and somehow made them even more magical and perfect than before. The rooms are so spacious, clean, and interesting! Everywhere you look there are special details and special touches like stained glass, hidden keys, and stonework. Every bathroom/ shower is incredible and unique! We had our whole wedding party and their significant others stayed with us on site all weekend which was perfect since we had guests arriving from across the country. They couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the rooms and bathrooms were! We cannot wait to come back to New Park in the future to spend a weekend and even have plans to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary there in a few years. Thank you for everything, Sara!

New Park Event Venue & Suites was an excellent choice for our wedding. They were very communicative throughout the entire planning process, making sure we felt informed and supported every step of the way. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, combining the natural beauty of the outdoor space with the unique and charming buildings on the property. The team was incredibly flexible in working with our vendors and accommodate last-minute requests. The property provided the perfect backdrop for our photos, and we received so many compliments from our guests on the stunning setting. Overall, New Park Event Venue & Suites exceeded our expectations and played a big role in making our special day truly unforgettable!

New Park was so wonderful to us and all of our guests at our October 2022 wedding! We chose to get married on a Sunday, and they were super helpful letting us know when we could set things up, how different timelines for the day could work, etc. Communication was always great during the planning process! The day of went super smoothly, and they helped direct the arriving vendors so we didn't have to worry about anything while we were getting ready. Sara was amazing through the whole planning process, setup, takedown - all of it. All of the staff helped to make the day seamless!

Also, the venue itself is stunning and so unique. We got endless compliments on it - especially the ceremony site in the woods! Our friends and family raved about how beautiful the whole property was. We rented out the main suite as well, and everybody that came in there was in awe, too! I would recommend New Park to any couple, one thousand percent.

I truly had such a great experience having my wedding at New Park. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. The grounds are just GORGEOUS. It’s surrounded by woods, so depending on the time of year you can go exploring! The cabins on site are so intricately designed, kept very clean, and stocked with what you need (coffee, tea, toilet trees, ironing board). We rented all of the cabins for 3 days so our family could be with us. The large pavilion was the perfect size to have the reception for my wedding, and we chose to have the ceremony outside by the creek. It was August, 2022. It was such an amazing experience to be surrounded by the beautiful woods, and the staff made it feel so personal. I would chose New Park again and again. We plan on staying again soon!

As soon as we saw photos of New Park, we knew it could be something special, and so it was! We held our 120 person wedding in July 2022, and the setting was just perfect - from the rooms that we and our wedding party loved, to the ceremony spot that perfectly captured the moment.
Sarah and her team were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process as well as on the day of. You could tell they really take joy in welcoming people to the place. The day of went so smoothly, as every time I realized we might have forgotten some detail (I did not work with a planner, and I'm sure it showed!), it seemed like there was some easy solution already on site. During the time I was planning, they even acquired high chairs to accommodate our infant guests. I would 1,000% recommend New Park - it's just dreamy!

New Park hosted our 110 person wedding in September 2022 and everything about our experience was amazing. From the dreamy ceremony site, to the packed dance floor, to the fire pit and the wish room- it can't get any better. Sara and the team at New Park assured that our day (and weekend) ran flawlessly. They were very responsive, attentive, and detailed oriented throughout the whole process. They even had a golf cart and was able to drive our grandparents to and from the ceremony site to the reception spot. We rented out the suites for the weekend, they are beautiful and updated luxury rooms.. we are talking automatic heated toilet seats! The property is stunning and has so much character to it- there are endless places to take photos! I cannot recommend New Park and Sara and her team enough.

This was the perfect venue for us, we wanted non traditional, funky, whimsical and that is exactly what we got at New Park. The space was ready for us to kick off our wedding weekend and gardens were lovely. Our wedding party was large and everyone was so obsessed with the suites - each suite is SO beautifully designed and decorated. We had the space from Friday 10:30/11am to unload our stuff, check into rooms early which was helpful. We stayed two nights with most of our bridal party there, we had the rehearsal dinner offsite and it was a great place to come back to and gather around the campfire. We set up quite a few details that evening to prepare for our busy wedding day.

The most popular feedback I received is “how did you find this place? This is so you guys” I don’t think I ever expected the wedding venue to match our personalities so well, but it sure did!

The staff was laid back, flexible and totally hands off which we appreciated. They were incredibly efficient - setting up chairs was a big job for the team and they were flexible when we asked for a few slight changes. They prioritized the couples requests over anyone else, exactly how it should be!

We were able to have an after party (100~ people) where we provided drinks once the caterer and bartender left! It saved us a lot of money.

This was the best venue for our people. The ultimate party spot … everything went better than I could have ever hoped!

We selected New Park for the following reasons: size (we had 150+), proximity to Ithaca, natural elements (gorgeous ceremony spot and gardens), the ability to make it a late night, the ability for us and our siblings who have toddlers to stay on site, and price. Sara and her team delivered on all fronts. The ceremony spot was simply magical- it's hard to do it justice with pictures! The pavilion+tent combo was totally comfortable for the 170ish guests we had. And the lawn games were a total hit. Furthermore, the guest rooms are really beautiful and comfortable. We had a more modest budget for a big wedding, and New Park was affordable without feeling at all "cheap."

My only piece of advice if you're having a wedding here- on a nice summer evening, it can be tough to pull people inside to dance since the grounds are so lovely. We used the limbo and it worked like a charm to bring people in an start the dance party!

Also, we worked with Van Noble catering, NY Liquid Catering, DJ Tuggle, Mama Said Handpies, Rachel Philipson Photography, Hotel Ithaca for room blocks, and Coachmaster for shuttling from downtown Ithaca. Everything was coordinated very nicely.
