Nashville Wedding Guitarist Rob Higginbotham has performed ceremony music for hundreds of weddings in and around Nashville, Tennessee, for the last 20 years. With ensembles including classical guitar, cello, violin, and flute, Rob is happy to play for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or any other event where you'd like elegant live music. Musical selections include a range of classical, contemporary, country, jazz, and Celtic genres. Rob has also arranged hundreds of current songs for solo classical guitar. From Bach and the Beatles to Kishi Bashi, Jason Isbell, and Snow Patrol, Rob has a distinct talent for translating your favorite song to the guitar.

Services Offered

Nashville Wedding Guitarist offers a range of ensembles, including solo guitar, duos, trios, and quartets with violin, viola, cello, flute, saxophone, or piano. They can also provide a 3-6 piece Jazz band for your cocktail hour or reception. Beautiful Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour Music

We hired Rob, along with his violinist, to play music for the ceremony and cocktail hour at my daughter's wedding this past weekend. The duo was amazing. Rob was very responsive throughout. He helped to select all the music and made the day so special. The ceremony music was so elegant and having the live musicians for the cocktail hour was a real treat for our guests. The bride and groom were absolutely thrilled! These folks are so talented and we couldn't be happier with how this enhanced our day. You can't make a better choice than having Rob be part of a wedding celebration!! Highly recommended.

Incredible Guitarist!

An Overall Amazing Experience

My fiance and I cannot say enough great things about Rob! He played guitar and provided vocals for our 'Minimony' ceremony and cocktail hour and did an incredible job. He was great at communication and worked with us as we navigated song choice. On the day of, we had a few minor things that changed and he was more than flexible during the process. We would recommend him over and over for any big, medium or small event. Thank you Rob!

Can’t say enough good things

Wowwwww just wow. I was blown away by Rob and his fiddler at my ceremony. I rewatch the video just to hear the song he played for me that was not in his list. They did SUCH a great job putting it together for me. I highly recommend using Rob, you won’t regret it. It was one of my favorite parts of my wedding.

Great music

While it's a little hard to concentrate on the ceremony music when you're in the midst of marrying the love of your life, Rob is a wonderful guitarist. His playing is truly beautiful. He is also very helpful guiding you on deciding what music to pick and sends a lot of pieces to choose from. We wanted a mix of classical and Beatles tunes, and he did them perfectly. he also offered to learn any other pieces we wanted if needed. He was professional, straightforward in communication, and a great accompaniment to our wedding ceremony.

Rob did a fantastic job with the music for our ceremony! With all of the people to meet and greet on the big day, we actually did not have more than a moment with him before the ceremony commenced to talk about the flow of events. But he handled the timing and coordination of the music to important moments in our ceremony with ease! Furthermore he matched the volume of his playing (and amplification) very well to the ceremony space and kept the atmosphere pleasant and happy! He was also easy to communicate with leading up to our wedding day and had performed at many weddings with our officiant so there was an added yet unexpected benefit there! We highly recommend Rob!

We chose Rob to play guitar for our wedding ceremony. Due to unforeseen circumstances a few weeks before the wedding Rob was unable to play on our wedding day. He was quick to communicate this with us and had already found someone to replace him when he contacted me. He had already gone over the music we had requested and all the necessary information with his substitute, who was also very qualified for the role and did a great job. Although Rob did not play for our wedding, I felt his professionalism in this situation to be worthy of a great review and recommendation for future brides.

We hired Rob to provide ceremony music for my daughter's wedding. He also provided a violinist. The combination was great. Somewhat at the last minute we also asked him to stay and play for cocktail hour at the reception. He was very accommodating. The music was beautiful and I had lots of compliments. He was very professional and everything went exactly according to plan. He was very easy to work. I would highly recommend Rob.

Rob and Rebecca did a beautiful job for us at our wedding at Wightman Chapel. The music was so beautiful, both simple and elegant while still being big enough for that space. I loved that it was something a little less expected but still sentimental and lovely. Felt very authentic to Nashville also, to have such unique music from such talented musicians. Great repertoire, very professional, timely. Perfect, would love to have the opportunity to use again. THANK YOU!

Rob did a wonderful job playing guitar and singing for my vow renewal ceremony. He was on time and professional. We contacted him a few days before the event. With short notice he didn't miss a beat. His guitar skills is so awesome.
