We live in Florida but had our wedding in San Francisco, where we got engaged! We had to find a professional florist to design our wedding bouquets and boutonnières solely on reviews since we live across the country. We could not have hired a better florist! She designed our flowers exactly like the photos I sent her and she always responded to my emails quickly. She delivered our bouquets and boutonnières on time for our wedding day and followed up on how we like them. Our wedding photos will look amazing because of her work and we are so happy we found her!

Not that Nancy needs any additional rave reviews because she is so clearly known to be fabulous, but I can't help but join her fanbase! I was planning a last-minute wedding and of course intended it to be casual, low-key event, and a (very talented) friend was planning to do the flowers. However, Nancy was the florist for my sister's wedding and did such an amazing job (let's just say friends and families talked about it for years to follow), my mom insisted that we hire Nancy. The first signs of Nancy's dedication--and kind, warm, generous spirit-- was that she had actually given her staff that weekend off but agreed to the job, AND was willing to travel to Lake Tahoe for it. She was also amazing at respecting my preferences despite my mom having somewhat of a different vision. Just after a couple conversations, I could tell Nancy understood me, so I trusted her experience and talent to do whatever she wanted--and the result blew me away!

Perhaps the only downside to having Nancy is that the flowers may have upstaged me as the bride! Guests were stunned by how gorgeous the flowers and arrangements were--how many times did I hear, "Congratulations! You look beautiful! And your flowers are amazing!!!" The flowers singlehandedly turned my wedding from casual to classy in a way that I didn't think was possible. Nancy managed to stay true to the more rustic theme, but put a certain glow and sparkle into the decor that made everything magical. In addition to what she had planned, after arriving at the location and seeing the space, she added special unique touches that only a true artist can do. My wedding coordinator said that she had never seen a florist show so much dedication and stay so long at a site to make sure every detail was attended to. Truly, everything was perfect.

So, once again, mom was right! She made our wedding day more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!

Hands down Nancy Liu Chin is the best in SF. She is highly sought after and books a year in advance! My wedding was in Carmel Valley at Bernardus Lodge and Spa. Nancy's team was on time and took care of everything. The flowers were well beyond my expectations. She is extremely talented and pays attention to every detail. The arrangements were so grandeur, breath taking and beautiful. I had several people tell me that it was the best arrangements that they have seen at a wedding. Nancy executed my vision exactly and as Nancy does best, exceeded my expectations. It's been 3 weeks since the wedding and my bouquet is still sitting in the refrigerator as I still smile when I see it. I still have flowers in my bathroom and around the house that are still living too! Her flowers are of the best quality and she does not and will not cut corners. I highly recommend Nancy and her team. Nancy is a professional event designer so she can carry out your vision to the fullest! I couldn't have been happier as everything was perfect.

We loved working with Nancy - she is absolutely incredible!

Nancy designed the flowers for our wedding in August 2014. Nancy was recommended to us by our wedding planner (Meren Dehaze of A Savvy Event) after we showed her our inspiration photos and her recommendation was spot on!

We met Nancy in person for a consultation prior to booking and were thoroughly impressed. She asked us thoughtful questions regarding our preferences and was able to take our ideas and add her own creative twist. She also had lots of ideas to stretch our budget further and recommended ways for us to reuse our ceremony flowers for the reception. We really enjoyed her upbeat, outgoing personality and decided to book her services for our wedding.

Nancy was also very flexible during the planning process - we changed our dinner configuration from 6 small tables to 2 long tables which required changes in the centerpieces and seating chart. When I told her this, she was able to adjust the centerpieces quickly and also gave me a wonderful idea for the seating chart (incorporating a wine barrel covered with flowers and succulents).

My fiance wanted succulents and I wanted pink flowers for our wedding which could have been a challenging combination but Nancy pulled it off flawlessly! She took our inspiration photos and really outdid herself. The day of the wedding, I could not stop staring at our wedding ceremony arch - it was so beautiful! The bouquets also looked amazing. They were just what I had asked for, only better. She even included mint in the bouquets which smelled heavenly. Our guests could not stop talking about our centerpieces - many of them took the centerpieces home and have started succulent gardens from them.

I would definitely recommend booking Nancy for your event!

All I can say is WOW!!!

Seriously, that's how beautiful the flowers and decor were at our wedding. Sure I'm a little biased since I helped pick them ;) but many of our guests said they felt like they were in a dream. Nancy is one of those people who is truly passionate about what she does and it shows through in her work. We initially met and talked about my design vision. She then ran with it and came back with ideas that were above and beyond amazing. She made us these gold trees with orchids on them that looked like butterflies. The first time I saw one I was blown away. She also was very accommodating with some of our last minute requests to design a Persian sofreh for our wedding and it turned out beautiful. I can't wait to have an excuse to work with Nancy again!

In November 2012 we travelled from Auckland, New Zealand to San Francisco to get married at City Hall. Nancy was our florist. Our flowers were very important to us as they symbolised our journey together so far. We had been together for 12 years (the day before our wedding day) and only wanted Roses as our flowers as my husband would buy me a different colour rose every month for our first year together :) Nancy also worked with us to make this happen in the most economical way possible. Our flowers were just beautiful Nancy, thank you! From the bouquets to our table centrepieces to our cake flowers....stunning pastel colours put together with flair. Nancy your smile lights up a room, thank you for offering us so much more than a floral arrangement! You and your husband make such a great team. We are thankful to have met you at such a special time in our lives xo

Nancy is AMAZING! After meeting with Nancy, she knew exactly my vision and put it to life better than I could have envisioned. She is so bubbly and sweet - so fun to work with! She even created a shared Pinterest page for my wedding where we could both pin ideas and comment so she could get a better sense of my style. The floral arrangements at my wedding - from the garland to the centerpieces to my bouquet - were truly so beautiful and lush. I cannot recommend Nancy enough.

One word.... AMAZING!!!

I just got married on September 2nd 2012 at The Fairmont San Francisco and our wedding was absolutely beautiful. I hired Nancy Liu Chin because after searching hundreds of florists online I fell in love with her website. Everything on it was exactly my style and I knew she could make my vision a reality. I had big ideas with a somewhat limited budget for the amount of things I was requesting and Nancy really worked with me to get me what I wanted while staying withing a reasonable budget.

I live in San Diego so doing everything via email with my vendors made me nervous since I'm a control freak. But with Nancy I felt so comfortable because I felt she had the creativity do understand exactly what my vision was.

I am an Interior Designer so my attention to detail is a bit over the top. I would email Nancy all the time with pictures and ideas and she patiently accepted it all and dealt with my particular ways. I found specific photos on google images of things I wanted and Nancy did exactly what I asked. I feel Nancy is more than a florist she is a designer herself.

I peeked into our ceremony and reception rooms before the wedding because me being a designer, in my eyes, Nancy had the most important job of any vendor, the design! Most brides worry about everything else but this bride was obsessed with the floral design and accessories.

When I get my pictures I will try to udate this and add a few so you can see for your own eyes. I would absolutely recccommend Nancy Liu-chin Designs to everyone!! She can do anything and is so professional you know she will deliver an amazing product . Her communication and follow through was wonderful and she is a vendor you will not have to worry about she will get the job done, on time, and it will be spectacular!

Nancy is amazing!

When I first came to her, I had somewhat of a vision for my wedding. With her compassionate listening skills, she sat patiently for me to talk it out in a supportive way. She even googled some bridemaids dresses to help me better envision the color and design I wanted, to get the whole look! (this was just one of the things she did). I have no idea where I'd be without her. She was so helpful that she seriously could have been my maid of honor!

Her work is superb and everything down to the last detail was perfect or better than what I could have imaged. We went for the whimsical/romantic theme and until I saw her work, I finally knew what whimsical meant haha. I knew I wanted it, but couldn't describe... but Nancy knew! I received so many comments on her work with the saying "It's so you!"

She always encouraged the line of communication to be open and always made sure it was what I wanted. She event kept me BELOW my budget without sacrificing a thing...in fact it looked like she added on more than we could afford! Nancy was very easy going and fun to work with. My planners and coordinators all loved working with her! Her enthusiasm made me feel at ease and happy to be going through something big and frightful.

I'm so glad that she was my florist/designer! She's the best and only one of a kind who can deliver greatness.

Nancy Liu Chin and her team were amazing. Nancy is incredibly warm and creative. She was always available via email and phone (we preferred email since we are New Yorkers who were getting married in Napa). After meeting Nancy in person, we felt completely comfortable with her vision. We gave her minimal guidelines and she gave us the most exquisite flowers and floral arrangements. They were beyond anything we could have imagined. I would highly recommend Nancy to everyone.
