We chose Nadia D for our November 2018 destination wedding at the Hard Rock Punta Cana in the DR. I originally heard her name almost 10 years ago when she was the photographer for my cousins wedding in Atlanta, and since she has covered a few weddings in our South Asian community for other weddings. She had been on my dream vendor list since before I even met my husband, so I knew she was THE ONE even before I met THE ONE.

From the moment I got engaged, I contacted her, and she was so kind and nice from our first phone call. She understood my vision, and was willing to work with our budget as well as nuances with having a 4-day international wedding in the Dominican Republic. Being from New York and my husband from London, it wasn’t easy planning, but she made the initial contract process and booking flights and hotels for our destination wedding an easy process.

From the moment we actually met her, she was an absolute joy to work with. My fiancé at the time isn’t the most comfortable in front of the camera and neither was I, but she made us comfortable and gave us direction and also listened to what we wanted and incorporated it into her creative process, and we cannot rave enough about our amazing pictures! Not only did she photograph from her heart, and put 100% into every day of our 4 day wedding as well as a pre-shoot on location, she stayed as long as she needed to without any complaints! The turnaround pictures were super quick as well and we received 45 GB of pictures (yes, that’s a lot of pictures) in about 6 weeks after the wedding, which we were so thrilled about!

The galleries were organized and we received all 45 GB edited! If I could give Nadia a billion stars I would, because she truly gave us pictures that will last a lifetime, and she was easily the best decision we made for our wedding! I cannot compliment her enough. Her patience, her kindness, and ability to make us feel at ease in any situation was incredible. She has such a wonderful soul, and her skill behind a camera is unmatched! She is a an absolute genius at what she does and her work can only be describe as art! We are so grateful she photographed our wedding and that we also made a great friend in the process! I cannot recommend her enough as a photographer for any event or wedding! It will truly be the best decision you have made! Don’t think twice, because it really will be a decision that will last a lifetime, and we cannot wait to look back on these pictures 50 years from now, and relive our wedding week! I don't even know how to begin describing how exceptional, how talented, and how wonderful Nadia is - words simply cannot do her justice. We haven't even gotten our wedding photos back yet, but judging from the jaw-dropping, mind-blowingly awesome job she did with our engagement photos, I am absolutely confident that they will be nothing short of phenomenal. Working with Nadia was like working with a lifelong best friend; she is kind, compassionate, absolutely hilariously funny and still incredibly professional, making sure she always gets the shot and that the coverage of the event is priority number one. My husband and I both feel so honored to have been able to work with Nadia and to have had her a part of our day!
