Maya was so incredibly sweet and helpful from the very beginning of our conversation about booking all the way through the wedding day events and after. She has a very bubbly personality and made the entire party feel so comfortable. She did an amazing job on all five of our hair and makeup, which lasted the entire day through wind and cold weather. I loved my makeup so much I kept it on for hours and hours, it lasted all day! She was super professional, and she knows what she is doing. She takes her time and makes sure that you are satisfied before she is completely finished.

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience. Communication was extremely inconsistent throughout the process. Messages regularly went unanswered for days at a time, and responses often only came after I mentioned ending the contract. A scheduled appointment was also canceled, which added to my concerns about reliability and professionalism. During communication regarding my concerns, I was also made to feel as though requesting accountability and a refund meant I was having financial concerns, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. During the call she continuously giggled which was also unprofessional. Because of the repeated communication issues and lack of confidence moving forward, I requested cancellation and a refund prior to any wedding day services being provided. No services were ultimately performed. I would encourage future brides to carefully consider communication expectations and verify professional licensing information before booking. At the time of my dispute, the Ohio eLicense system showed the license status as ‘abandoned.
