My husband and I got married on 8/3/2013. Jeff came early and even took a few extra photos before we asked him to. Through the whole night he was there to capture all the moments that we did not even think about. Jeff was a great photographer. He was present during rehearsal and prompt to the wedding with an assistant photographer. Our pictures look great and I can't wait to see our book. So many pictures to choose from. He was fun and pleasant to work with.

Jeff did a fabulous job. My husband and I are notoriously not photogenic, and Jeff got some wonderful shots of us. We did an engagement photo session with him and he took extra time over our appointment to get us the perfect shot. His photos of the venue and decorations were absolutely beautiful, and of course the photos of us were breathtakingly romantic. We hope to use Jeff again for family photos in the future.

Jeff Martin of MSP was referred to me by my wedding coordinator who had used him for a few of her events. Jeff has a lot of talent, his engagement photos were beautiful (everyone at the wedding was talking about that photo) and his pricing packages were very reasonable. He was on time for the engagement photo shoot, and even came out to the rehearsal just to get a lay of the land before our big day. However, there were definitely more than a few issues with MSP. First, our package included an assistant photographer who was supposed to take the groomsmen's prep pictures before the wedding, and ensure that no shots were missed. This assistant was super late to the wedding - as a result we have zero pictures of my husband and his guys getting ready. And he had the audacity to leave when the reception started (so basically he was present for like an hour)! When I got the official photos, and then saw some of the pictures my cousin took unofficially, I noticed that there were glaring moments that the photographers missed (like me, my husband and stepdaughter pouring the unity sands all together). Thank goodness my cousin caught that shot! I'm no expert, but you would think that with 2 photographers shooting at multiple angles for an entire day you would get more than 470 proofs - but that's all we got. Second, Jeff is horrible with responding. It took him 2 months to respond to a simple email we had about CDs for our pictures (even though we called and sent several emails). And he continuously moves back the deadlines on when we're going to receive our photo albums (I would have rather been told up front that it would take 3-4 months from the event date to get the albums back, rather than having to follow up all the time). To be fair I will say that he's tried to make up for these shortcomings by giving us more album photos than originally allotted, and that he did a good job on most of the photos, but with all that's happened so far I would not recommend him to anyone. He should definitely replace that assistant photographer. Note that you have to pay the full balance 2 weeks in advance of the wedding with MSP.
