(family loves parties) She is an excellent make-up artist, is always professional, has always been on time and she KNOWS her stuff! Since she started doing make-up for me when needed I actually feel that i've become bolder and more open to using different colors, techniques etc... She is that good. When i had my sweet 15, Moxie Artistry was hired to do my make-up and she was extremely attentive and worked wonders with my face. I had severe acne and scarring on my face and after she was finished, I looked as though I had never had a brake-out in my life. The eye make-up was so beautifully done. She took into consideration the small flower details on my dress and with that added life and color to my eyes. She has a beautiful personality and she made me feel very comfortable during the process. The make-up lasted all day and night and looked just as beautiful as it did when she put it on.
I recently needed an artist for a photo shoot for my hair accessory line and she was the only one I wanted for the job. She created a beautiful "Dia de los Muertos" theme and executed the look I was going for flawlessly. She is always going above and beyond one's expectation and has a wonderful vision. I recommend her to everyone in need of a make-up artist with expert skill for an amazing price. You can not go wrong with her, no other artist will give you the same results and leave you completely satisfied.

In the several meetings I had with Maritza she was late to ALL appointments. I entrusted her with doing my hair and makeup for my engagement session and my wedding along with hair and make up for a few other members of my bridal party. I don't mind if someone is late, but we are talking about at least an hour late each of the 5 times we met. I didn't mind her being late given all the excuses that she told me; however when you show up an hour and a half late on the day of my wedding that's just completely unprofessional and adding undue stress. Not the way I wanted to start of my wedding day. Her skills are good, but she is greatly lacking in professionalism. The makeup lasts all day and stays set nicely; however I rated her so low due to tardiness and lack of respect in this area for her clients.
