Sam made the day!!! She was able to totally calm me down as the day was starting and instantly made my husband and I comfortable and ready for a photoshoot! Her professionalism and way she so easily advocated for what we wanted from our day, couldn’t of been better! Can’t thank her enough and can’t wait to use her for all photo needs forever!

I tell every single person who asks not only how important choosing a great wedding photographer is, but how choosing Sam will be the best decision they make for their wedding.

I don’t think I most couples understand how much time they will spend with their photographer throughout their wedding day. Your photographer gets there while you’re getting ready and spends just about every moment with you until the night is over. Not only should you want someone who takes gorgeous photos, but you should also want someone who is genuinely fun to be around so you feel like you’re spending your day with a friend vs someone you’ve only met once or twice.

One look at her website or Instagram will show you that Sam’s photos are stunning, but on top of that she is such a genuine, caring, and fun person to be around. Myself, my husband, and all of our friends and family felt like we were hanging out with a close friend all day long. She made us feel comfortable while taking photos and did a great job of capturing photos in ways that felt natural and fun vs stiff and posed.

The weather didn’t cooperate for us the day of our wedding but that didn’t stop Sam. She ran around outside in the cold, wind, and rain taking outdoor property photos with us because she knew how bad we wanted them and never once complained or even stopped smiling and hyping us up. She kept assuring us the photos were gorgeous and no one would be able to tell how crappy the weather was and she was 100% correct. I can honestly say that as a bride dealing with rain on her wedding day, the only thing that kept me calm was knowing Sam would take amazing photos no matter what the weather or other circumstances were.

Because of the weather, we didn’t get to use our floral arrangement set up on the outdoor arbor and we were pretty disappointed about that. During cocktail hour Sam grabbed a few umbrellas and asked if we’d want to go outside and see the unused ceremony set up and take a few umbrella pictures in the rain. Once we got to the ceremony spot, there was a stunning sunset and even though it was raining heavily at that point, Sam had us set up for a few photos that turned out to be not only some of my favorite photos of the day but also one of my favorite moments of the night. She stood there in the pouring rain while we ran around and danced and she managed to perfectly document the emotions and feelings of a newlywed couple.

I cannot say enough great things about Sam. She is so incredibly talented, her prices are more than fair, and she will do whatever it takes to make sure she delivers the wedding photos of your dreams. Several of our friends are already planning to work with her for their weddings after seeing how our photos turned out. If we had to plan the whole day over again, I would choose Sam every single time.

Sam was fantastic to work with from start to finish. She was one of the only photographers who allowed me to pay for as many shooters as I needed for exactly as many hours as I needed each, instead of a package where I was locked into a set number of hours.
