Kevin was a great choice for DJing our wedding. His acoustic live music option was an added option and we are so glad we chose to add it. Having him play live during our cocktail hour was intimate and amazing. He played music throughout the night which set a great mood, and he was so easy to communicate with. Not to mention, he is affordable! We would definitely recommend Kevin to DJ any wedding. Thank you Kevin!!

Kevin was the DJ for our wedding, and was suggested to us by our caterer. He was very professional and responsive! He supplies all of his equipment and tables... we only had to point him to the power source we wanted him to use, and he did the rest. This was VERY helpful-- one less vendor to worry about! :)

We also had him sit through our rehearsal ceremony. We had an unconventional ceremony (i.e. entire wedding party flew in on airplanes), and he was able to roll with it no problem-- even when we had to change the procession at the last minute! My husband and I were also slackers and got the music list to him very last minute (~1 week before the wedding), and he was able to accommodate everything we asked for. So in short:

Pros:
1. He responds to emails in a timely manner.
2. He showed up EARLY to both the rehearsal and the wedding itself.
3. Totally self-sufficient-- he shows up and gets the job done. His sound system was great for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, he supplied us with a lapel mic for the ceremony and regular/wireless mic for toasts, and was even able to coordinate playing a video one of my cousins made and gave to us super last minute :)
4. He's a good DJ! Many people loved the music for the reception (cocktail hour AND dancing)-- we just gave Kevin a few genres and songs we liked and he did the rest :)
5. We had to shift our schedule around a lot during the reception (i.e. people started eating cupcakes before we cut the cake... arrrrg), and he was able to adjust/announce everything well despite the last minute changes.
6. VERY reasonable prices.

Cons:

Nada! Book this dude if you want a reliable, reasonably priced vendor that you won't have to worry about on your big day :)

I had such a great experience with Kevin. Our wedding was out doors at a summer camp venue. I thought this would be challenging to find someone to help with background music while in the ceremony area, music in the dinning hall, music to dance all night, set up microphones and a projector for the slide show, but he did it ALL!!! He really had everything we needed. We added the string lights package, it really made the dance floor feel so personal dancing under the stars. We came up with a small list of songs we would like to hear but mostly explained we would like the songs in the beginning to get all ages out on the dance floor and then later in the night get the party music started. He did such an amazing job reading the crowd. Kevin was on time, easy to get ahold of, and overall seemed excited for our event. With all the extras we added due to our unique venue I thought the price was very reasonable. We ended up paying more for him stay another hour when our guest were not ready to end the night. I was so thankful he was willing to stay.
