Mount Sequoyah Retreat & Conference Center is a banquet hall wedding venue located at the highest point of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The charming and historic venue is only a few miles from the city center and provides a variety of lodging options for your guests. Situated on 32 acres of land, this iconic northwest Arkansas venue makes a beautiful backdrop for a relaxed wedding ceremony and reception.

Facilities and Capacities

Mount Sequoyah Retreat & Conference Center offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. The Vesper Point Outdoor Chapel can seat up to 400 guests and features a portable sound system and microphone for the officiant. In the instance of inclement weather, the charming Martin Chapel can be used as a backup venue. The Chapel features colorful stained glass windows and can seat up to 150 guests. The Bailey Center is a versatile event space suitable for seated banquet-style receptions of up to 250 guests. The 2,950-square-foot space features a raised stage, a loading dock for easy vendor access, and a kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink. The property also features outdoor lawn and gazebo areas suitable for cocktail hour and hotel-style rooms available for the wedding party to use to get ready.

Services Offered

Mount Sequoyah Retreat & Conference Center offers a range of wedding packages. Their ceremony and reception package includes the private use of Vesper Point Outdoor Chapel and Bailey Center reserved for 36 hours, with Martin Chapel available in bad weather. This allows adequate time to set up, prepare, celebrate, and clean up. Couples are also able to use the Bailey Center for a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Rental includes table and chair setup and use of their built-in sound system, projector, microphones, and WiFi. Include in the package are two hotel-style rooms for the day of the wedding, which can be used as suites for the wedding party to prepare, and an additional room or house for up to two nights. The lawn or gazebo area is available for an additional cost.

Cuisine

Mount Sequoyah Retreat & Conference Center offers catering from their in-house team led by award-winning executive chef Justus Moll. The team will work with you to create the perfect menu to enhance your wedding event. The venue’s menu focuses on simple, high-quality ingredients and rustic Americana-style cuisine.

Mount Sequoyah Retreat & Conference Center offers a wide variety of accommodation options that can be reserved for your wedding party and guests. Options include hotel-style rooms, dorm-style rooms, and whole houses. Room blocks of 10 or more are available at a discounted rate.

    Perfect! Can't say enough good things. Great for a family-centered wedding with lots of kids.

    I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mt. Sequoyah, specifically Rebecca. The staff was so accommodating and so flexible. I had many specific requests for our wedding lodging, as I wanted families and friend groups to stay together. Mt. Sequoyah was responsive, positive, and genuinely kept me sane. I would recommend them time and time again. They were amazing! Additionally, we rented one of the lodges for the rehearsal dinner and a reception, and it was a perfect space for lots of kids, for several different hosts, and for any and all caterers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    Fayetteville Wedding venue

    Beautiful venue, easy to work with and very laid back. The staff is incredibly accommodating and the hidden campus lends endless possibilities for creativity with several different spaces. It's also in the middle of town, though it feels completely far away with gorgeous views of downtown Fayetteville.

    This is such a great place for an outside wedding (with an indoor backup!). It is right in the middle of town but on top of Mt Sequoyah, you feel like you are away from it all. It is a convenient location, and the staff have been wonderful to work with.
