Beautiful, Historic, Unique, Affordable & Low-Key Venue

We had a fall wedding at Mount Sequoyah and it was such a special place.

We had our ceremony at Vesper Point, cocktails on the lawn nearby, dinner in a tent on Cottage Circle, and dancing and dessert in Millar Hall. We used the renovated historic Young Lodge as a hangout and meeting place to host friends and family all weekend long. Watching sunsets from the porch of Young was beautiful. We also had a Friday night dinner in the historic Parker Hall.

Mount Sequoyah is such a special gathering place, can meet the needs of an array of guests (there’s a hiking trail, playground, ping pong table, art gallery, gym with day passes), and feels like being in a quiet wooded retreat but is still in the center of Fayetteville. It also feels great to support a treasured community space by using this venue.

The staff are responsive, friendly, calm, and super easy to work with. Unlike many other venues, you get the space for plenty of time and don’t have to just rush in and out. Our wedding weekend felt like a giant reunion. We are so grateful for Mount Sequoyah. (The photos don’t do it justice!)

Beautiful backdrop in this one stop venue with on site lodging.

Mount Sequoyah was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. All of our guests were able to stay on site which was the perfect way to be able to spend the most time with everyone. Rebecca and her staff were very flexible and responsive and the venue offers tons of options for different backdrops. One highlight was being able to rent the pool and tennis court area for a fun event before our ceremony. Our friends and family loved it so much we are planning an annual event at Mount Sequoyah.

Winter Wedding on the Mountain

My husband and I got married in the chapel and had our reception in Bailey. Not only was the event space amazing but the staff helped make our wedding perfect. They worked with me to create my dream wedding. We both had a place to get ready and hangout before the wedding. We reserved a wedding block and all of our family stayed on the mountain. It was nice to have everyone in a close space. We had breakfast for our family and friends in the dinning hall the morning after the wedding. Everyone loved getting to get back together for a meal before they left town. We also had the dinning hall cater our wedding. They made two wonderful types of pasta and served it for us in Bailey. They also made appetizers for guests to enjoy while we were taking pictures after our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in a beautiful part of Fayetteville and have everything in one place.

Perfect! Can't say enough good things. Great for a family-centered wedding with lots of kids.

Fayetteville Wedding venue

Beautiful venue, easy to work with and very laid back. The staff is incredibly accommodating and the hidden campus lends endless possibilities for creativity with several different spaces. It's also in the middle of town, though it feels completely far away with gorgeous views of downtown Fayetteville.

So Beautiful

Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of someone and there was a handful of times playing phone tag, but the venue was beautiful and in person/once you got ahold of the staff, they were very helpful. The outdoor chapel speaks for itself and the view was worth it.

My husband and I were married at Vesper Point on Mount Sequoyah. Other than some minor record-keeping issues, it was an extremely pleasant experience. The view is spectacular and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. If we were to do it over again, I’m sure we’d trade I-do’s in the same beautiful location.
