I am drawn to a couple's story, who they are, and what love they share with each other. I am an intense listener and always ready to meet someone new! I love experiencing different cultures, stumbling through a conversation with a non-English speaker, and stepping into the backroads of a foreign town. I cannot recommend Morgan highly enough! Firstly, the photos were absolutely stunning and captured the feelings of our wedding days perfectly. From the first phone call through the whole wedding day, Morgan was so incredibly organized, professional, and talented! She understood what we wanted out of photos even as two people not particularly good at explaining our ideas. She was also on top of the schedule changes, the dress bustling, all the extended family photos, and any other little detail I would never have been able to plan. Truly an incredible photographer and wedding-expert!

Best Wedding Photographer!
Morgan is an absolute dream of a wedding photographer! She is a brilliant creative who is calm, cool, and collected at all times. Morgan is a professional who can be trusted with any delicate information or details that may arise during the wedding planning process. I loved sharing our wedding day with her, and I appreciated how kind she was to all of our vendors, bridal party, family, friends, and guests. Our photos are absolutely stunning, and we'll treasure them forever. She sent us a sneak peek gallery the day after our wedding, and delivered the full gallery within one month from our wedding day, which was amazing! I cannot recommend her enough!

Morgan is a rockstar!!
Morgan was, in every way, exceptional! We opted to do some engagement pictures before the big day to help us loosen up, and were immediately comfortable with her and so appreciative of her direction. Her attention to detail and communication could not have been better in advance of the actual wedding and, when the day finally came, she captured the loveliest shots of big and small moments alike. Turnaround on the photos was quick and efficient and we absolutely adore all our pictures! Thank you, thank you, thank you Morgan!!

Amazing photography
I highly recommend Morgan for wedding photography. Their talent, professionalism, and attention to detail truly captured the essence of our special day. She did an amazing job, communicated well not only with us (bride and groom) but was also very good at communicating with the bridal party and the family in the photo shoot! She is great with Candis and portrait photos! She was very respectful, clear with the instructions and very helpful. I am not good with pictures and she made sure to take the best photos of me because made me feel confident and helped during the photo shoot. The stunning images she provided exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful for the beautiful memories they've given us

Amazing, made a huge positive difference for our wedding day experience
Morgan Newsom gets 25 out of 5 stars in our book! She captured all of the important details and memories of the wedding day, ceremony, and reception without being intrusive or taking us out of the moment, and even without an assistant. Morgan is very attentive to the details of each moment she captures, often going above and beyond expectations by helping when groomsmen had trouble with their boutonnières and helping the bridesmaids bustle the wedding dress. She made a point of asking the right questions ahead of time to be sure that she knew what was important to us so that she could capture it on the day of the wedding without needing to consult us during the event. We loved meeting her ahead of time for an engagement photoshoot, and we appreciated that she made the trip to Washington, DC for this shoot even though she is located in Tennessee, the location of our wedding. Her photos are beautiful and flattering and tell the story of our special day. Her work was a critical element in making our wedding day a complete success. We can’t overstate our admiration for Morgan’s professionalism, friendliness, and talent.

Morgan is a Gem!
Morgan is hands down the best wedding photographer and I would recommend her to anyone! From the moment I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to work with Morgan based on her work alone, but once we spoke, I knew she would be perfect! Morgan is extremely professional, calm, and sweet. We felt at ease during our engagement shoot and on the wedding day. She went above and beyond to help us prepare for our engagement shoot and to get comfortable in front of the camera, and on the wedding day captured every moment while keeping a calming spirit during a hectic day! You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in her clients. She is responsive and works to get photos to her clients in a timely manner. Morgan is a gem and I’d hire her a million times!

Timeless style
I initially spoke with Morgan about engagement pictures since my husband and I live in Memphis, but planned to get married in KC and find a photographer local to there for our wedding. After our initial phone consultation, it was an easy choice to pick Morgan to capture both. She is very thorough during consultation, lays out multiple package options for different price points, and her contract is top notch professional. Planning was a breeze with her questionnaires that help facilitate seamless logistics before wedding day. She is so responsive to her clients via email, phone, and text. Our engagement pictures were during an unseasonably warm day and I was sure we were going to look a mess, but she delivered beautiful and natural images within days of our shoot. Wedding day Morgan was such a calming presence! She is amazing at getting the best pictures without stealing us from our party or even feeling like she's there. Her images are candid and real life which I love. I couldn't believe how quickly we received our album. Her editing style is light and airy. Our entire wedding party raved about her and the second shooter's personality. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. We feel so lucky we found her through our good friends and are so grateful she traveled for us!
