The Moorten Botanical Garden is intimate and full of history. If you have time and a bit of budget for decoration, you can really decorate the venue up as you like it. Clark Moorten was very friendly, easy to work with, and flexible to our needs. After looking at tons of overly priced venues that felt stuffy and pretentious, we finally found ourselves at Moorten Botanical Gardens and fell in love. We had our small ceremony on the lawn by the main house, surrounded by beautiful, ancient cactus and the breathtaking San Jacinto Mountains. The atmosphere was very laid back, bohemian and full of nature. We themed our wedding around cactus and the desert, even creating little cactus pots for gifting to our guests. All in all, if you want a relaxing wedding experience for you and your guests, with not a lot of fuss and a beautiful setting, try out the Botanical Gardens.
