Monica was great to work with. She is very detail oriented and self directed, taking great photographs of all the details and set up. She brought some props such as ring stands that worked beautifully in the photos and found great spots to hang the dresses for some photos. She made sure I didn’t have any hair ties on my wrist by accident in both my engagement and wedding photos, laid my train out nicely in all the photos, and helped figure out my complicated dress bustle. She took excellent portraits, suggesting poses for us to try and getting candid shots along the way. Her editing is gentle but beautiful and returned in a very timely manner. We definitely recommend her!

I cannot say enough how thankful I am that I found Monica!!! I did a LOT of research for a wedding photographer. My fiance and I did not consider ourselves very photogenic people and we are both goofballs. I wanted to have "nice pictures" of us, but also pictures that actually captured us as we really are. I don't know how, but Monica delivered on both and she did it beautifully. During our first conversation she was very straightforward in explaining her style of photography and what was important to her, in order to make sure we were a good match. Her priority is not "getting your business", it's making sure that you are getting the photographer that is right for you. She has a lot of integrity!

The day of our engagement pictures, there was a literal hurricane on top of us!! But she found the perfect lighting, perfect angle, best backdrop and pose-- from looking at those beautiful photos, you would never know we were about to get drenched:)

The day of our wedding, same story... it just kept on raining, Monica took initiative and got some umbrellas for us to use. She took the rain as an opportunity to make our pictures more fun and unique, and that made me feel so much less anxious. Throughout the night, she and her team were present for all of the special moments-- I felt so comforted knowing that she was behind the lens, capturing these memories for us, and I was honestly happy to have her there as a guest (she's just a wonderful human in general).

Literally THE NEXT MORNING I woke up to a "sneak peek"-- she stayed up super late, just to pick out some of the pictures from our wedding. And again, they were all amazing. Not only do my husband and I look seriously beautiful (in my humble opinion), it just felt so REAL seeing our faces. We were not posed or awkward, Monica just found spaces where we were our best selves and she captured the moment. In the end, I got exactly what I had hoped for: every smile in our wedding photos are real, and they make me smile looking back on that day!

Monica made our nerves go away. We were able to do both our engagement and wedding photos with her, and she captured our love perfectly! Go with her couples! You won't regret it!

Monica is so personable and full of creative ideas that bring out the best in the couples. She has the best equipment and plenty of experience. Her prices are very reasonable to everyone's budget. She spends allot of extra time and effort to make sure the wedding photos are excellent. Would recommend over any other photographer any place hands down!!!
