Vanessa was wonderful to work from the beginning to the end...not only is she super professional, she has a lovely bubbly character. She made the whole experience so easy (we are from the UK and this was a destination wedding in New Orleans), and the results are fantastic, we LOVE our photos as do our family and friends.
We HIGHLY recommend Vanessa (and Sergio as second shooter) and she ticks all the boxes for us.

From the very first interaction we had, Vanessa was such a pleasure to work with. I came to her with my grand idea to visit New Orleans with my girlfriend and propose to her during our vacation. We spoke over the phone so she could truly try to connect with us as a couple and help suit our needs for the best photoshoot and experience. She sent me multiple location possibilities throughout the city as suggestions for the proposal based on what we had talked about during our phone conversation. After deciding on the French Quarter, we came up with a plan and picked the spot that she and her husband would be at posing as "random photographers" so they could catch the big moment!

My fiance and I had never had a professional photoshoot and Vanessa and her husband were extremely down to earth and fun to work with. She helped us with everything: even down to how to pose our hands so that they looked natural. We literally got sneak peeks that same night and our photos before the promised return timeframe!

If you are looking for a photographer with the eye for capturing your most genuine moments, that will help you with anything and everything all the while feeling like a dependable friend, look no further! Vanessa was absolutely the best! I would highly recommend her to anyone! We had a small destination wedding and Vanessa went above and beyond for our photos! She posed us, made us laugh and feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. All my guest have commented on how wonderful and kind she was also! My experience with Vanessa as our wedding photographer was absolutely terrific! Vanessa genuinely cares about creating beautiful memories of your wedding and I feel fortunate to have engaged her as our photographer. She is a attentive, skillful professional who knows how to set you at ease throughout the entire wedding photography process. In addition, she's a talented makeup artist and stylist and was able to do the hair and makeup for myself, daughter, and mother. She was literally a part of our family that weekend! When I was searching online for a photographer to take my engagement photos, Vanessa's photos stood out to me immediately. The couples in her photos seemed so natural, their happiness genuine, and their unique personalities accentuated. I could tell from looking at her photos that Vanessa had a gift for capturing the true beauty of moments and relationships. I was beyond excited when she agreed to take me and my fiance's engagement photos despite several complications on our end. In fact, Vanessa went above and beyond to ensure that my fiance and I got what we wanted out of our session with her. Leading up to our photo session, Vanessa kept in regular contact with me. As someone who worries about everything, her quick and dependable responses to questions and concerns was much appreciated. Not only was she professional with her communication, but she expressed genuine excitement about meeting and working with us. By the time I actually did meet her, it felt like we were already friends. Prior to taking our photos, Vanessa (who actually used to be a makeup artist) did my hair and makeup. She did an incredible job of it and saved me the hassle and stress of having to find an additional vendor or doing it myself. Not to mention, having the time to talk to her and get to know her before the shoot made me and my fiance feel much more relaxed around her during the shoot. In fact, my fiance and I ended up actually enjoying the photo shoot. Vanessa clearly knew what she was doing and was very familiar with the area (the French Quarter of New Orleans). She knew exactly what spots to go for photos so there was no wandering and we maximized the hour of time we paid for, and she knew exactly how to direct us for poses so that we looked natural in our photos. As two people who are generally very camera shy, her confidence, knowledge, and friendliness was extremely appreciated. One thing I was very pleased with was that Vanessa had a sneak peak of our photos ready for us that very night. She had the rest of the photos ready about three weeks later. My fiance and I are incredibly pleased with each and every photo and they've garnered endless compliments from family and friends. In summary, I highly, highly recommend Vanessa as a photographer. She's not only an amazing photographer, but a kind and caring person who will go above and beyond to ensure you are pleased with your photo session.

Vanessa is amazing!! We could not be happier with our wedding and my bridal photos. She captured all of the special moments beautifully! Vanessa photographed my wedding last night and she was so patient, kind, and personable. My wife and I also had her shoot our engagement session and Vanessa is just SO talented.
