The Minden Opera House was built in 1891 and renovated in 2000. The theatre on the upper level is a very versatile space that can be used for weddings, receptions, holiday parties, proms, conferences and much more. The upper level also has a lobby area that can be used for bar and food service, or for small gatherings of up to 40 people at tables. It has a breathtaking view of the Minden town square and access to the stunning balcony.

Just off of the Upper Lobby is access to the Green Room and Board Room areas. The Green Room provides space for catering staging and includes a small refrigerator, a warming oven, sink and ice machine. Next door to the Green Room, the Board Room is the perfect space for the bridal party to store personal belongings, get dressed for the day, and utilize the private bathroom facilities.

On the main floor level of the Minden Opera House is the Nied/Winther Room that is perfect for rehearsal dinners, medium sized meetings, luncheons, anniversary parties, bridal or baby showers, retirement parties and birthday celebrations. The primary handicap-acessible guest restrooms are located on this level, and an elevator provides access to the upper floor.

The main floor also offers a gift shop, art gallery and small kitchen that are availble upon request.
