Having the opportunity to purchase my wife’s engagement ring and our wedding bands from Miller’s Jewelry has truly been special to me. In November 2010 when I decided to propose to my wife to be, I knew I had to go to Miller’s. Granted there were hundreds of Jewelers in Northern Virginia and several along the way to Altavista, I even put a deposit down to hold an engagement ring in Northern Virginia but something just didn’t feel right. I met with Glenn and Linda to find the ring I wanted. I think we met five or six times before selecting the right one. Each time we met, they were always so helpful and insightful. The big name Jewelry Store I went to in Northern Virginia wouldn’t even allow me to inspect or hold the diamond of my choice. Glenn and Linda gave me the diamond and showed me how to properly inspect it. That was another selling point for me, they could have easily said “oh this diamond is great, trust me” and led me afoul. Instead they took the time to help me with the most important purchase of my life. When they asked me why I chose to buy from them and not in Northern Virginia, I told them it was because of two reasons. First, Altavista has always done by right by my family and I. Second, no matter where I go, I will never be more than a touch away from home. The third reason which I didn’t tell them was that during one of my low points in life, they took the time to care. I will always remember and cherish that. The Miller’s truly embody the spirit of Altavista. As small business owners they are hardworking, honest, loving, and caring people. Michelle and I would like say thank you to them for all that they have done to make our wedding and marriage memorable.

we bought my enguagement ring on line and had to get it sized. it took them a little longer than they said it would but they were very nice about it. and my wedding band was very inevpensive.
