We used Michael for my son's wedding this past Sunday. He handled a large family crowd very professionally, making sure that every combination that we wanted was photographed. But we were blown away when we saw the first set of pictures. He made every action situation look so natural, like he wasn't even there. we could not be more pleased, and will definitely use him for future weddings (have 3 more sons) if the locale allows.

Michael not only did our son's wedding, he did our daughter's wedding this past June. He did a magnificent job and so many people have commented on the tender moments he captured and the excitement of the dancing. He seemed to be everywhere and got every great moment. We were willing to spend more on a photojournalist because we were more interested in action than in stills. We were so delighted with Michael's work that we didn't even both looking for another photographer for our next wedding. It unquestionably had to be him. This is an investment in memories and it pays to use the very best. We're glad we did.

Michael did a fabulous job capturing the essence of my son's wedding. He really got "the shots" needed to tell "the story" of love capturing the emotion of all involved. The difficulty of managing three families, not two, along with the intricacies of an orthodox wedding & the demands of many different personalities managed not to phase Michael as he did an outstanding, artistic job with photos we will treasure!

Michael beautifully captured the spirit of our wedding day with amazing shots! He was able to capture the emotions of our guests and the beauty of our special day. His calm demeanor also helped with the flow of the more formal shots and made him seem invisible during the candid shots (where he was found literally lying on the floor to get great angles!). He was also quick to send us our pictures soon after our wedding and was very responsive when it came to creating our album. He was flexible with the creative spin we wanted for our album, making a final product that was beautiful and unique to us. Myself and my 2 married siblings used his services for our weddings. We would highly recommend him!!!!

I couldn't possibly have asked for anything more from my time with Michael. The pictures capture every emotion I had and I get to relive them constantly :) The angles he got were INSANE! There are pictures that I don't even know HOW he got. Just as important as the pictures is how he made me feel as a bride. I was freaking out, shaking, nervous...and he made me feel so safe and secure. He was clear and calm and I am so grateful he was there with us on our day. Thank you! I would recommend him to anyone! We recently used Michael Temchine for our wedding, and we would recommend him to any other couples looking for a wedding photographer. He arrived early to the wedding and worked tirelessly the entire afternoon and evening (he was going straight for about 9 hours).

Michael took the requisite combinations of posed family photos, and did a quality job of it, but it was clear that his passion and his specialty is in capturing great natural shots. By the end of the ceremony, his knees were grass-stained from kneeling to find the perfect angle – his shots ranged from beautifully artistic (a closeup of my hands putting the ring on the groom’s finger) to strongly emotional (my grandmother crying as she hugged me afterwards).

He also shone at capturing pictures of the festivities afterwards. It was great to see the shots of all the things we had never even noticed going on. His photo of two of our college friends dancing goofily with an eight year old guest was just perfect.
He was always ready to take whatever photos we asked him to. He has quite a fast turnaround time – he had a highlights slideshow (about 70 pictures) up on his website a week after the wedding, and the rest of the 1000+ photos up a few days later.

We both highly recommend him.

I am so grateful that we used Michael as our wedding photographer. His work is not only extraordinary and professional, but his artistic perspective is really unique. He captures the most special moments with a intimate eye and his pictures reveal a beautiful and telling story. I have a framed photo on my desk at work from our wedding and people constantly come up and tell me what a wonderful photo it is. After our wedding, I couldn't wait for the photos to be posted, although I had no doubt, based on his portfolio, that they would be outstanding. I loved that Michael posted a bunch of photos on his blog a day or two after our wedding! It was very exciting to see even a few photos so soon after the event. He posted all our photos just a couple of days after the wedding (I know it can take other vendors much longer to post the photos).

Of all my wedding vendors (videographer, caterer, florist, etc.), Michael was the best and easiest to work with! I didn't run into any problems with him. He made himself available all the time if I had any questions -- both in the wedding planning and the wedding itself. His calm personality made him a blessing to have around on our wedding day -- if you could pick one person to follow you around all day snapping photos of you and your groom, I wouldn't pick anyone other than him!

My only regret was that we didn't do an engagement photo shoot!

We are very pleased that we hired Mike as our photographer. The photos are so beautiful and artistic. He really captured the wedding perfectly. The best shots are the ones when we didn't even know he was there, which was another thing that I really liked about Mike. He was not obtrusive at all. He was able to capture us and our guests being ourselves. This was really important to us because my husband in particular is a little camera shy.

Michael did an incredible job of capturing all the joy and love present during our wedding day. He was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had leading up to the event. We decided to use Michael after he photographed my husband's sister's wedding. His pictures were so beautiful and so real that we knew we had to use him.

One of the best things I can say about Michael (other than how amazing his pictures are) is how quickly he got us the pictures. Not even a week after our wedding, Michael already had a blog post up featuring our wedding and before we arrived back from our honeymoon, we had a link to view all 1300 some pictures. It was amazing to be able to see and share all the pics with the memory of the wedding still so fresh.

I believe Michael has gotten a lot more experience with posed photos since the previous reviewers experience. We had no problems there. Michael had great ideas and gave direction well, but was also flexible enough to let us play around.

Michael's photography was amazing. We used him for both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and the results were beautiful - we would definitely use him in the future for non-wedding photos. He was in the middle of the action -- which was especially important for the Jewish dancing -- and we eventually forgot he was there (as he said we would). Our only frustration was during portraits -- Michael warned us that they weren't his favorite part and you could see the frustration of working with two large families in a small amount of time. But he still got amazing pictures and we've been getting compliments from family and friends.
