This couple has been through the wedding planning process and can help you with their expertise. Micah and Lauren can provide all kinds of music from instrumentals during your ceremony to late-night dancing tunes. Although their core group consists of just the two of them, they also have relationships with other musicians to create the perfect ambience for your wedding.

Incredible Music and Atmosphere for our Corporate Event

Micah played for our corporate event in April of 2022, and it was the perfect type of music for our dinner. He was professional, on time, and just genuinely nice to work with. I work with a ton of musicians for our events, and I HIGHLY recommend the Gilliams!

Micah and Lauren are incredible. Micah was very quick to respond, and though he didn't perform at our wedding, he stayed involved in the process.

Lauren and Jim performed at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. They set the exact atmosphere we were aiming for! Laid back, relaxing, a little spunky and just plain fun!! All of the guests could not stop commenting about them and the fact it was the "coolest cocktail hour and reception music" they had ever heard. I cannot thank them enough!
Micah was easy to communicate with and stayed involved. He was already booked for that day, so he immediately provided a solution and alternative male to sing and play guitar with Lauren.

Amazing Music!

Micah and Lauren created a sound track for our reception that created the perfect mood for our family and friends. Every song that we suggested from first dance, dad/daughter to the last dance was performed with such beauty and charm it made my night. The uniqueness of their sound is unrivaled. I can’t recommend them enough.

I wish we would have gotten to hear Lauren sing during our ceremony and cocktail hour. ALL of our guests raved about how wonderful she was, and how the music blended so well with the space. She was not overpowering nor too subtle. Just perfect, and a beautiful voice!

Micah & Lauren were honestly a dream to work with! They were responsive, funny/kind, flexible, not to mention TALENTED as all get out. I'm so so happy that we chose them for our ceremony/cocktail hour musicians. They have a true knack for reading the vibes of a crowd. I cannot count all the compliments we received on their performance. They really completed the ceremony/cocktail hour - just lovely! Would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Micah and Lauren communicated well, gave us lots of options, and were easy to work with. Professionalism aside, they are both extremley talented. We have seen them perform at Prohibition Kitchen where they were nice enough to play a song for us and give a little shout out, which just set the tone for the friendly, loving service we knew we would receive at our wedding. Focused entirely on the ceremony, I hardly got a chance to see them day of, but I can still hear Lauren's voice as I walked up to my groom. Beautiful and haunting, in a wonderful way. My guests all commented on how lovely the music was. Thank you again!

Micah & Lauren were so wonderful and accommodating. They even learned a new song we requested for our wedding. Honestly they couldn't have been better! I highly recommend them.
