  Incredible Music and Atmosphere for our Corporate Event

  Micah played for our corporate event in April of 2022, and it was the perfect type of music for our dinner. He was professional, on time, and just genuinely nice to work with. I work with a ton of musicians for our events, and I HIGHLY recommend the Gilliams!

  Micah and Lauren are incredible. Micah was very quick to respond, and though he didn't perform at our wedding, he stayed involved in the process.

  Lauren and Jim performed at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. They set the exact atmosphere we were aiming for! Laid back, relaxing, a little spunky and just plain fun!! All of the guests could not stop commenting about them and the fact it was the "coolest cocktail hour and reception music" they had ever heard. I cannot thank them enough!
  Micah was easy to communicate with and stayed involved. He was already booked for that day, so he immediately provided a solution and alternative male to sing and play guitar with Lauren.

  Amazing Music!

  Micah and Lauren created a sound track for our reception that created the perfect mood for our family and friends. Every song that we suggested from first dance, dad/daughter to the last dance was performed with such beauty and charm it made my night. The uniqueness of their sound is unrivaled. I can’t recommend them enough.

  I wish we would have gotten to hear Lauren sing during our ceremony and cocktail hour. ALL of our guests raved about how wonderful she was, and how the music blended so well with the space. She was not overpowering nor too subtle. Just perfect, and a beautiful voice!

  Micah & Lauren were honestly a dream to work with! They were responsive, funny/kind, flexible, not to mention TALENTED as all get out. I'm so so happy that we chose them for our ceremony/cocktail hour musicians. They have a true knack for reading the vibes of a crowd.   Micah and Lauren are consummately professional and polished performers with great voices and great style! They have performed for my birthday parties twice in the past two years. All of my guests loved them! I was especially excited that they performed Michael Jackson songs -- and really well. In my experience, very few performers attempt MJ music because of its complexity and fullness. Micah and Lauren were up to the challenge. I highly recommend them.

  We contacted Micah and Lauren for our annual Christmas party to provide some music at our event. From the very start their sounds set the vibe for our party and at some point during the night they became part of the group through their music and interaction with our group. Everyone at the party thoroughly enjoyed their music and they definitely help set a great vibe. We would highly recommend them for any group function big or small, they are a pure delight!

  Lauren and Micah were perfect for our wedding! They did exactly as we asked, played songs they learned just for us, were excellent at "reading the crowd", knew just when and how to adjust. They played for several hours, took all sorts of requests from a very mixed group of people. I really appreciated that there was no "showboating" on their part. They are humble, polite, funny, sweet PROFESSIONALS who are VERY talented instrumentalists and vocalists. Our guests LOVED them! Several of our relatives and friends happen to be professional musicians, and they also were full of compliments. One commented that she hopes we have Lauren and Micah play at our Fiftieth Anniversary and that they play every song they played at our wedding! Our musical tastes are varied. We love Americana, classic rock, new folk, country, etc. They did it all, including their original work. They were on time, dressed appropriately, and just perfect for us. They also brought in two extra musicians (our request), an upright base and a fiddle, so we could have a bigger sound and they sounded as if they had played together for years. We would hire them again in a second!

  The willow wacks were amazing! They added such a beautiful touch to our ceremony and cocktail hour. Even before the wedding they were great with communication. They traveled from St Augustine to Amelia island. I would highly recommend them...they are very talenteded!!

  If you want live music that brings people together comfortably, hire this duo! We loved having these two gems play our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance.   As happy as we are to have stumbled across The Willowwacks cannot come close to how happy we are to have had them play our ceremony. Just a lot of "wholly" happiness to sift through when trying to find the words to tell you that The Willowwacks are a most beautiful team that is more than capable of setting a sweet and intimate atmosphere for you and your guests too!
  They asked me for a list of songs I wanted played - even to the point that they were willing to learn them. We knew nothing about song selections besides that I cringed at the idea of walking out on my father's arm to "Here Comes the Bride". We gave them full reign of this arena, and they nailed it! All I can say is that as of the time my father and I stepped out, I saw the forty five people that mean the most to us gathered, I saw my man, then I heard the music. As simple as Micah's guitar and Lauren's ukulele may seem, the two of them captured the pure, sweet love that I was feeling and narrated it into a language that everyone could understand at once - without a P.A.
  My husband and I are still being told how beautiful The Willowwack's Canon was. To be honest, I didn't know which of the melodies this was, but remembering how beautiful the whole scene and memory was with their playing among it all, I just graciously agreed and was happy to know that so many special people share the same favorite parts of the event as me.
  We didn't have an aisle runner, flowers on the chairs, or an arbor. The Willowwacks contributed (and became) such an important part of our ceremony- none of that fluffy stuff was missed. Our memories fill our hearts and The Willowacks are the sound that embodies it all.
  One night my husband and I finally looked up Canon to put an end to the mystery of which song it was that has our friends and family so enchanted. We realized that this is a very popular piece for weddings and that what they were actually saying is that The Willowwack's Canon was the most beautiful they've heard.

  Micah and his Lauren were absolutely amazing!!! We had a small wedding about 50 people and everyone was telling me afterward how great the music was. They learned a song for my first dance with my wife, and it honestly sounded better they way they did it than the version by Staind. From start to finish Micah was on the ball with responding to e-mails, asking questions, and making suggestions to help me out so I would have one less thing to worry about on the wedding day. Not only was he great but went above and beyond. My wife secured a Elvis tribute artist to sing at the wedding, without gaining anything extra Micah and his wife let this other artist, who was incredibly hilariously tacky, use his sound equipment. A lot of people have forgotten what good customer service is, and without being asked by me or my wife he went above and beyond so my wedding day was perfect...and it was!
  
  Weddings are expensive obviously, but Micah worked with me on the best package I would need, was flexible and I could not have been happier. I highly recommend you check him out and get him for your next event. Thanks Micah! I'll be looking for your next album on iTunes soon

  Micah's music provided the backdrop for an incredible ceremony. The clean simple music set the mood exactly as we had wished. He learned a couple special tunes for us and pulled them off beautifully. Leading up to the ceremony his suggestions were appreciated as he directed us to visualize and plan an event that we were incredibly proud of,

  My husband and I asked Micah to come and play the guitar at our wedding on May 20, 21012 in Austin, Texas. Not only did he fly down early to practice with other musicians for our big day, he ended up having to play other songs that he was not prepared for and did an amazing job. Micah even took the time to come to our wedding rehearsal and when no music was around for us to practice with, he immediately started to play Pachelbel's Cannon In D and Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring seamlessly as if he had written them himself. I have a feeling that most songs come naturally to him in that way. We were blessed to have a perfect wedding day and Micah was a huge part in that. I would highly recommend Micah to anyone having a special event! Not only is he extremely professional, but also one of the most talented musicians that I have met.

He had an uncanny sensibility about what was appropriate for his role in our ceremony. He needed very little direction to get it right but was very open to direction if needed. Most importantly, it was obvious he is a very gifted guitarist and mandolin player. The quality of his music was top-notch. We would both recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing a musician for their wedding or other event.

  Micah is super talented and played his guitar beautifully at my wedding. Micah was on the worship team at our church at the time and when my then fiancé and I heard him play we scouted him out to ask if he could play at our wedding. He was also so very patient with us and all the songs we wanted, and truly made our wedding complete with his music! Thanks Micah!
