I'm creative. But I'm analytical. And somewhere along the way I gave up the fight and decided that I could be both.

So here I am a photographer. A wife. A business owner. And a mom to a silly toddler girl, a dreamy baby boy, and two lazy pit bulls.

I married my husband Alex in June 2003. Whitney was born in May 2007. Lola and Louie came to us somewhere in between. With life changes, comes introspection, but more importantly for me, inspiration. In 2003 I was married, had earned a business degree, and had been in the corporate world for eight years. But I went back to what spoke to me since I was a child - the creative arts. So I picked up my dad's old Nikon film camera and began my education in photography. My first wedding was in February 2004 and I have been shooting ever since.

My joy is capturing the emotion in others on their wedding day or hanging out with their family. I'm fortunate to know the adoring smile of a new husband, the way a child holds your heart, the trust in another person's eyes. Seeing and capturing the emotion that I feel and know in my own life - via a snapshot - it doesn't get any better than that.
