We used Metro Diner to have our Welcome Dinner for our wedding weekend. We had about 100 guests in the restaurant, and everything was perfectly done! Daniel at Metro Diner was so easy to work with. We met with him ahead of time and picked out our menu. He even offered to decorate the restaurant for us with the decor we provided. When we went beforehand to set up, there were so many staff ready to help us, they were all so friendly, and eager to please us! We set up a few tables so they could see the look we were going for, and when we came back for the dinner, everything looked incredible! They even added the cutest gold foil striped napkins to go with our black and white nautical theme. I can't tell you how GREAT the service was. Everyone was made to feel as if they were the only ones in the restaurant. They were always asking if you needed anything else, and were more attentive than any waitstaff I've ever had. The appetizers were wonderful, and the meals were outstanding. It did not taste like mass produced food. Everything was of great quality. My husband and I got the salmon with red potatoes (delicious), the chicken pot pie (VERY good), and a half order of chicken waffles - the half order was huge, the whole order was a MOUNTAIN of food! and It was seriously the BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my life. That is NOT an exaggeration! Metro Diner's not kidding when they say that's what they're known for! Also, we brought in our own beer and wine - they don't charge any corkage fee and were so laid back about when we could deliver it to the restaurant to keep it cold etc. Seriously it couldn't have been an easier night to spend time with family and friends who came into town for our wedding weekend. It was a wonderful way to START the weekend - EVERYONE we talked to said the food was delicious and they were ALL so impressed with every aspect of the dinner, start to finish.
