The venue was absolutely beautiful during September, the staff was very friendly and willing to help. The team at Meriwether was very flexible and fun to work with. The only downside was we were told the leftovers would be able to be packaged up and taken home... they were thrown away along with the bottom of our cake. A lot of money down the drain.

I was engaged for over a year... and I booked my venue pretty well in advance. During this time there were 3 different people that I dealt with in regards to event planning with Meriwether. Each person was nice, but by the time that the 3rd person was hired it was like 3 weeks until my wedding which made me a little nervous. They were unorganized, and no one had notes on my wedding made by the previous person so each time they changed planners I had to go through all the details with the new person. That made me very nervous.

The overall value of the venue was good. We did an outside ceremony (which they didn't charge us to use) and then a reception inside. I know their prices have gone up for everything since I booked, but our reception was great. We had hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner which my guests raved about. The tables and linens were decorated nicely, and the staff worked well with my friends who helped decorate as well. The day went pretty well that day, I just wish that Meriwether would have been a little more organized.
