Our venue recommended Mendokers’ and we “tested” out their cake and pastries earlier this year – amazing buttercream! But when it came time to actually order our cake, we decided to buck tradition and serve pie instead! We worked with Shelly to select 5 flavors and they were all delicious. Our guests are still talking about the pies. I had strawberry rhubarb – it tasted just like my grandmother’s!

Mendoker's has had a very good reputation in New Jersey for many years. They did a great job on our cake. Many of our guests told us it was the best cake they have ever tasted! I definetely recommend them.

Mendoker's - what else needs to be said? Our cake was fantastic! And Mendoker's is the preferred vendor of the Forsgate - the cake is included in the price! Doesn't get better than that!

My cake was fabulous. They did a beautiful square design with colored ribbon around each tier, and they had the color of the ribbon exactly right, matched to the sample I had brought in. It was delicious (white cake with strawberries and their pastry creme inside.
The bakery also created large chocolate chip cookies that were out of this world, for favors for my wedding. They individually wrapped each one and tied them with ribbon that matched my cake. Highly recommend this bakery!

BEST WEDDING CAKE I EVER ATE!!! BUTERCREAM WITH STRAWBERRIES AND YELLOW CAKE. THEY EVEN LET ME DESIGN IT.

We had a really great experience working with Mendoker's for our wedding cake order. The employees really know they stuff and had great recommendations on flavors and combinations to try. Also, they seem very experienced doing weddings so we didn't have to worry about picking up, etc. My one very minor complaint was that our chocolate raspberry cake was very very sweet. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, but I preferred the white cake cake more. It was nice to have something for everyone though. Highly recommended.

Great place! I went there as a kid buying little treats, so it was a pretty easy choice when it was time to select a bakery for our wedding cake! The cake tasting was nice, and they offered a nice variety of options. While they listened to your ideas and wishes, they also weighed in their opinions/expertise at very appropriate times so that our cake was the best it could be.

My only wish for them is that they could be a little more flexible with providing good colored ribbons for the cake. We even provided them with our own ribbon to put on for the cake but I guess the material wasn't feasible to put on the buttercream frosting. We weren't really told about what happened so we're hoping we'll get the ribbon back when we drop by the bakery (I can't imagine why not....and neither do we forsee an issue there). The cake still came out very pretty, just a SLIGHTLY different color ribbon than I expected.

Our Mendoker's cake was absolutely delicious! We decided on buttercream rather than fondant because of the taste. Our cake tasted awesome! We had a wedding cake and a kitchen cake so that there was extra cake for guests. The cakes were so large that we had cake for our after-party at the hotel!
